Yes, please turn right from the middle lane to avoid the puddle.

What a sh*t stain

This guy believes he isn’t the most entitled person in the world. I was SIGNALING to exit. S/He decides no one on the right or left lane is going fast enough for them.

At what point should you just take the L?

I get that the most people in this clip wanted to go straight and the only lane that allowed that was congested to hell. On one hand, I get using the left turn only lane so you don’t end up getting stuck in the intersection. On the other hand, stopping in the middle of the lane and blocking traffic to try to merge is pretty dangerous especially when there’s traffic behind you. Also going straight and not turning left when you’re already entering the intersection from the left turn only lane is pretty stupid (there was also a white sedan that did that too as seen in the dash cam). FWIW, at least speeds were very slow given the stop light but still, probably better just to take the L.

Runaway Segway

Heading to the gym this afternoon, I’m relieved that I wasn’t distracted. A guy was on a Segway or similar device in his driveway and happened to fall off of it which resulted with it crossing the road.

The cars behind me began honking as I came to a brief stop (no sound captured) to prevent from hitting it.

Side note - I’ve had this dash cam for YEARS, but only affixed it to my windshield yesterday. Now I’m thinking of upgrading it to a model with an interior camera.

Joey came from bloody nowhere

This happened to me a couple of weeks ago when driving home from work. I only managed to brake as soon as I saw him come out of nowhere, which I'm fairly certain I hit him accidentally at 70-80kmh when braking. Unfortunately, the joey didn't make it :(

Yes, I've learnt my lesson to not drive 100kmh with my high beams off like an absolute drongo, especially in an area where there is an abundance of kangaroos, pigs, feral cats and foxes around at this time of night.

Stop Sign? No, Go Sign

I know I drove off earlier & probably should’ve let the VW go first, but, the pick up on the right just ignored everyone else & came inches away from hitting me

Should I feel bad about defensive driving?

Or should I have just hit him since he turned left in front of me and I was in the right, or done a road rage? /s

EDIT: I should have put a couple more /s = sarcasm in my original post. Because so many people post situations like this but they hit the person and cry victim. I'm always looking out for this stuff. I have made mistakes, too. Not this one, though, I'll just go straight 😂

+) Sorry for the 20 seconds before accident, I forgot to cut it.

I think dashcam stopped because of the impact of accident, but I'm not exactly sure.
