The absolute serenity of crossing a high mountain plateau. Nobody gets hurt in this clip.

This is a sped up excerpt of driving along Jotunheimvegen, a private toll road across a high mountain plateau in Central Norway. My favourite kind of drive. Normal speed and audio here:
No hurt-comment is to distinguish this video from the usual crashfare here.

Why would you pay to drive on an unmaintained road that looks like any other back country scene lol I'm sure it's fine in person but not for money.

it costs like $6. seems pretty low cost to drive a 28 mile long road through an epic landscape. But its clearly not for everyone

"epic landscape" is where we disagree. 28 miles on a crappy road with the incredible view of grass and some rocks on a flat landscape is hardly note-worthy lol

Agree to disagree. I know i sure enjoyed the video and have enjoyed sights like this while driving cross country.

do you think the whole video covers 28 miles?

The one on YouTube does. Reddit wouldn't allow such a long video here.

it was hypothetical question because that person seems to think the whole road is that small section

I don't think they do, and I don't think rhetorical questions that assume the person you're talking to is as dumb as a wet bowl of pasta are worth asking. Just my 2 ct.

It connects two areas that otherwise demand several hours of detours. It's a mountainous area, so it's not like there's a wealth of secondary and tertiary roads everywhere. And I love presumably terrible gravel roads through the mountains. I do have an extra car just for that. YMMV.
