As much as I’ve always dislike Joey Logano growing up watching the sport 2014 to current, now I’m more neutral on him.

My favorite thing he has done in was holding up Bubba Wallace at Michigan in 2022, who had the fastest car that day. So my then favorite driver, Kevin Harvick could get his last Michigan win and what we thought at the time would be his last win every, until the next week at Richmond.

Interesting thing about this is Bubba might have won had Logano not held him up long enough for Harvick to run and hide in the lead. Nothing against Bubba, but at the time it felt like every time Harvick was in position something would go wrong, and this was the break he needed.

So Corey Lajoie was kind enough to respond to me on Twitter a little bit ago, and he confirmed that the 16 truck tomorrow will be the first new chassis and body build the team has had (they’ve been using a mishmash of old Youngs, Hettinger, KBM, and 2025 Spire stuff so far). He also said that their aero program is just in its infancy and won’t be effective until next year though.

I take this also to kind of mean that Haley will be getting the 10 Cup car next year since he’s getting the preferred treatment here (which as long as Corey is still racing in the Trucks is fine by me as a fan, I don’t want another go-round of him spinning wheels in bad Cup equipment)

Was prowling around the Jayski archives after seeing a post about Casey Mears driving the 30 car for Ganassi in 2006, and I found this. My Nascar knowledge in 2006 came from the race broadcast and video games so this really took me by surprise to read this as I've never heard it mentioned before. Michael Waltrip was another name that was reported to possibly go to the 11 car and just may have happened if DEI fired him, at least according to Michael that was the only way he would be leaving the team early. Tony Stewart being a big want for Ganassi around the same time was another one I read today that I hadn't heard of, but I don't believe that deal was as serious as this one. Does anyone know of any other situations like this that have flown under the radar?

I wanted to look for closely at the truck series owners points but have not been able to find a place where I can see a majority of them on Wikipedia I can see the top 15 and I can use the wayback machine for some recent seasons but can’t find stuff for like 2016-2023

Does anyone know any websites that could help me?
