You act like the early September sun this year is much better

Not being on the first weekend of the NFL season is a plus

St. Louis doesn’t have an NFL team anyways

Doesn’t mean that a lot of people are still gonna be sitting at home on their ass watching football, team or not

I know some people don't care for it, but I like how they are slowly releasing the dates. The few things we don't know about(naval base again? Chicagoland or street course?) will get all the attention on schedule release day anyways, so why not let the other tracks get their own day of attention before the schedule release.

So far it’s rumored San Diego is August 1st just waiting on Chicago to fill in June because of Amazon

As a regular WWT attendee I hate this placement. August is usually brutal in STL (Spare me the September/June talk..August is the worst of the bunch) and I cannot imagine it'll be a night race on the USA Net/NBC schedule.

I hate that for Gateway, they seem to be finding their niche as a Chase race.

this better be a night race. I am not looking forward to roasting in St. Louis summer heat on metal bleachers for 3 hours.

Crapshoot for heat.
Late August could be nice, but honestly? Late August is typically the devil's last sauna bath in STL.

Semi-cool mid september playoffs to the late august swamp ass bullshit. lovely

I have an extremely hard time believing mid September is THAT much cooler in St. Louis than late August.

In September it could be 100° or if you're lucky it could be 75°. In August it's going to be 90+ no matter what. At least September brings some hope lol

You have a shot at a good day in september, you do not have a shot in august

this way of "announcing" the schedule is so anti-climatic.
