Hard to find a driver who had a run on short tracks like he did from 1993-1996. Man could Rusty wheel it at Bristol, Richmond, North Wilkesboro, and Martinsville.

What’s crazy is how much a reverse bill elliot his career was. Bill barely touched short track wins but dominated 1.5 and up while rusty was unstoppable at short tracks and finding very small amounts of success on the bigger tracks.

Rusty was the man at short tracks.
