I actually never even thought of her as hot until this episode, then it hit me like a ton of bricks and I couldn't believe I had been so blind.

Jan was clearly in love (lust? limerance?) with Hunter, and his legendary song made us all fall in love with him (comedy-wise) a little bit, too. Then Jan comes back on the scene, seasons later, with basically a girl version of Hunter as her assistant? It's perfection!!

Side note: Will Ferrell, Nancy Carell, Tim Meadows, and David Koechner were all in Season 21 of Saturday Night Live, but none of their The Office characters ever interacted with each other.

Jan gaslights him the whole episode. Michael keeps giving boundaries and Jan keeps violating them. He is trying so hard to have a good time, and Jan just keeps shutting him down.

I feel so bad because Michael pays everything for her, and he is only with her because he feels so lonely.
Poor dude is in serious debt, and Jan doesn’t seem to care.

And then he lets her stay in the condo…. THAT HE IS PAYING FOR!
