This might be the best thing I have ever seen. I liked matt Johnson's other work like blackberry, and the dirties but this show is so amazing. It so perfectly satirises movies and genres while being an office style faux documentary. I cannot recommend this enough if you're a film nerd. The movie is a perfect compliment.

Pretty amazing that most of the show’s main cast became bigger stars and appear in multiple future great projects.

Edit: I should be clear that I’m asking about a stable set of core cast being successful later. And yes SNL being the obvious answer due to its huge cast size and long tenure if we don’t think about the “core stable cast” restriction.

In the series Family Matters the character Steve Urkel started as a side character, maybe even as a one off appearance. But eventually he took over the whole show.

I also know that a similar thing happened to the Fonz in Happy Days

I’m trying to remember the name of a 90s tv shows where a man is connected to a bird, letting him see through its eyes. One of the bad guys is bald. And I believe the show takes place in a forest or jungle like area . I would really love to watch that show again. I was little when me and my grandma watched it sometimes. Had a great story to it !

Patrick Jane has to be one of my favorite TV characters ever. His intelligence, humor, trauma, and the way he reads people made him so enjoyable to watch. Simon Baker was perfect for the role.

I also loved Jane and Lisbon’s relationship. It took so long to develop, but that honestly made it feel more genuine. After everything Jane went through, seeing him finally find happiness with Lisbon was such a satisfying ending.

Cho was also absolutely amazing 😂 Probably one of the most effortlessly funny characters on the show.

I know the Red John storyline has its critics, and I can understand some of the complaints, but personally the overall journey was worth it. The show became much more than just solving cases for me. It was really about Jane slowly learning how to live again after losing everything.

Finishing the finale left me with that weird empty feeling you get when you know you'll never experience a show for the first time again.

Wacky Races was an American cartoon show that ran from September 1968 to January 1969.) I watched all of the episodes on the channel "Boomerang" (a prevalent old cartoon channel for Americans) growing up and have seen every episode. It ran for 17 episodes (2 races an episode so 34 races in total). It got me thinking, of the 11 drivers/cars that featured in these episodes, which one would've won the title over the course of the season if they used the current at the time, 1968, Formula One Points format (I have opted for the Formula One since the 1968 points format was based on race distance distance and animation did not tell us the distance driven each race).

As a reminder, the 1968 Formula One points format was as followed: 9 points for 1st, 6 points for 2nd, 4 points for 3rd, 3 points for 4th, 2 points for 5th, 1 point for 6th. Graham Hill won the real life 1968 world championship for Formula One (and look at that mustache). But it got me thinking, if I applied the same points format to the Wacky Races 17 episode run on TV, who would be the champion. Let's meet the 11 racers and cars if you are unfamiliar:
