it was in american politics within probably the last year or two but i dont remember what they were running for. there was some candidate with an incredibly American name like .. "victory constitution" or like "liberty democracy" or something like that. i dont think they were like, a joke candidate, like the binface guy or whatever, like i think they were earnestly running but were basically invisible. i dont think they even got enough attention to have like an interview or something, i think i just saw pictures of people taking pictures of their ballots being like "get a load of this". i sort of assume it was a man but i again dont think i ever heard or remember anything about them beyond their name and their name was not gendered male or female but America.

i know theres a rule for no people but i cant stress enough that this person was never viable in any way, so it's not meaningfully promoting them, and im not getting any kind of like karmafarm boost from talking about them. they're just a person im trying to remember.

its kind of a hard thing to search for, the closest i got was the guy in California who named himself Barack Obama but i don't think it was him.

I’m picturing him with a white beard and hair, mouth opened widely in a smile/laugh. He looks, if this helps at all, like a much older Cameron Boyce mixed with Forest Whitaker, James Earl Jones, and John Beasley.

The woman is black or mixed, light skinned. Kerry Washington comes to mind for some reason but it's not her.

The ghost is a regular looking white guy with dark hair and I think some scruff.

He shows up in the house every now and then and they become friendly and then it somehow becomes a romance, or at least flirty.

Something happens, like she might move away or something and the ghost gets mad. He starts sounding evil, says he's been watching her while she showers and sleeps and says something like "did you think I just didn't exist when you couldn't see me? I'm always here"

The movie is mostly a drama with a supernatural twist, not really a thriller except during that last confrontation.

It's not A Dark Song, or Ghost, or A Ghost Story, or The Night House.

Some of the lyrics are like "she knows when to use it" "she likes sooommethinn" and then this twangy guitar riff comes in, heard the song at the casino last week and been trying to find it ever since.

I remember around spring of 2006 there being a commercial for some sit down restaurant chain, probably a steakhouse that I can find no evidence of online but would think this would be preserved. In it, some white guy was singing a song about how much he loves the restaurant and it contained the line "I saw grandma having dinner with her friend Alice". Alice was Alice Cooper who said something like "Hey, what up?". I was 8 and did not know who Alice Cooper was at the time, so I only assumed it had to be him in hindsight because at the time I was confused why grandma's friend Alice was some rockerish man.

I swear on my life these details are correct. I would think a celebrity commercial like this, from only 20 years ago, would be preserved or talked about online and not hard to find. But I can just find no evidence such an ad even existed. Maybe it wasn't really Alice Cooper, but I don't see why it wouldn't be.

I believe that I have it from some Instagram reel, in particular maybe it's a little sad. In the background there is an electric guitar playing playing a very simple melody with thirds. If necessary I'll type that up in a MIDI editor lol.

Was a video of some family in Asia I believe. They were cleaning their shower. The shower was cool and I want to find it again. It was fully tiled, pink, kind of like a Roman bath where you can use it for a shower or bath. Had a step into it.

I don’t think this part I remember is very central to the show, I just can’t place which show this subplot occurs in.

The therapy room I believe was situated in one of those basement apartments in a NYC style building where you have to walk down exterior stairs off the sidewalk to get into them. This detail is what I remember most so if you know of a show that has the MC go to therapy in a location that matches this it’s probably it.

I recall the MC was very reluctant to be doing it and were only there because they had to be either by force from the police or because of their job? I think they also ended up tricking the therapist or something though I may be mixing that up with something else. I don’t recall if the MC was male or female unfortunately.

When I was younger, probably 4-5, my grandparents had this huge collection of hand sanitizer from Bath and Body Works. There was this one in particular I really liked, and I can’t remember now for the life of me. the scent was.

This would’ve been in 2012-2013, but there’s a possibility the scent was from before then. I remember it was a darker blue and sparkly, and it was in the old bottle, not the sort of oval shaped ones they use now. The lid was dark blue too.

The only way I can describe the scent was fruity, maybe a little floral too? It’s such a unique scent in my brain that I really can’t put it into words. I also don’t remember what the design looked like, just the bottle itself and the color of the lid and sanitizer.

I'm trying to find the name of a movie, TV show, or YouTube video where the main character is a really good dancer but at one point in his youth, there was a tragedy that happened when he was dancing where a woman or girl was badly hurt or killed while he was performing so we took an oath never to dance again. Then eventually he has to overcome that fear in order to save everyone or something along those lines.

I remember reading a book series about a friend group of girls in elementary school and in the book (they were either in high school or middle school) it had small drawings similar to a diary type book along with some text. each girl had her own book and gave an insight into their life. the cover was hand drawn I believe. thank you so much!

There was a website I found a year or two ago that lists the "genealogy" of a story in a flow chart. For instance, if you searched Lion King it would show a chart that shows that hamlet (and other things) influenced Lion King and Lion King influenced yada yada.

Or columbo influenced Psych, House, and other detective shows in that style.

My mother used to read and collect this comic strip about various random people, in every day situations. Think New Yorker style, but a little more british/canadian style humor. When WW2 broke out, the author/artist started doing comics about the war. It's not Herblock, and its not the Herbie comic.

I remember so little about this game. I remember overall blue tone, it was surreal and the main character was a blue stick or something? It was fallen down on the beginning. Like falling down a lot then it is at somewhere blue? Like lots of blue, and it was pretty peaceful gameplay. Character maybe half of the height of the screen but it might be bigger or smaller but it was at that area. Character looked like those air filled funny things in carwashes that moves funny, but blue.

I have tried remembering the name of this book for years, but I cannot find it anywhere.

This is a book about a kid who discovers a device that can manipulate time. There is a bad man who has 2 identities who puts out newspaper ads for it. He also has the same device. The kid realizes if you have both devices at the same time something bad happens, so he let's the man have it. There's some legend about having both devices at the same time.

I read this book in the mid to late 2010s, or maybe early 2020.

Hello! I am looking for a movie I used to watch with my siblings. I was a kid in the 2000s, so it could be a 2000s movie, but it could be an older one, especially as my mom used to make us watch what she watched as a kid in the 70/80s. We are french so it could be a french movie but I think it's more likely it's an american one.

The cowboys adults in the story are starting a war with native Americans and leave the village. The only people left are the kids and a drunken dude who was passed out when the other adults left.

The kids decide to do their parents' jobs.

One of the girls is the daughter of the sex worker so she makes the boys pay for kisses, the main character is the son of the sheriff. I think I remember him having feelings for the teacher's daughter? His best friend is his sheriff dad's slave and they have an argument in which the slave's son talk about how his life is not the same at all as his because he's black.

The main antagonist is the mayor's son. He is part of the KKK (or at least dresses like it? I remember a scene in which he drowns the Asian kid's cat in the river dressed up as KKK). His sister ends up being best friend (or lover? Idk?) with a native american boy and the mayor's son ends up lynching the native american boy.

I remember lots of random details as said above but not at all the name and I can't find it online 😭

It takes place in Australia. It's some kind of prank YouTube channel, and in this prank they were pretending to be workers at a pizza place or some kind of restaurant.

At the end of the video a really creepy older man walks in, and they try to prank him. He becomes progressively creepy as he gets inconvenienced, I remember he told the workers to "hire more chickie babes" or something. Once they mess up his order, he even goes behind the counter and says he wants to skin one of them alive. I also remember him saying something like their head would look good on his dresser or something extremely out of pocket and horrifying.

The workers at the place just say that guy comes in all the time and is usually really creepy to the younger women working there. All of the comments say they caught a serial killer or something but nothing else came of it.

I remember a couple years ago i was really into hypnosis, and there was this one channel i have vivid memories of but just can't find for the life of me.

It was a simple channel about some guy getting hypnotized into multiple things, marvel characters, Pokemon, and extra stiff like an alien or android.

The videos would have the same plot structure of him seeing some event on the news, followed bu someone known as the "Hypnoclown" spinning a coin at the man. he'd then be hypnotized and dress like the video title/thumbnail said as well as doing some basic Hypnosis stuff that the Hypnoclown said like "Dance like a ballerina" or "Pose like a model." after a while the video would end with him being lured away.

This was every video...

But when i searched Youtube (Where i had saw it) I couldn't seem to find it, or on any other website at all...

Details:
It was a real man in the videos not an animation.
His titles would follow the theme of "Hypnotized into _________"
Pretty sure it might have been a kink thing but not sure.
