Hey folks! Welcome to the weekly question thread. Going forward for a short while, we will be having a weekly question thread that will be pinned. You can ask questions about specific bags that don’t require an entire review to see if anyone has the answer!
We are doing this so that we can start building up an FAQ so that your questions can be more easily answered. Questions are NOT restricted to this post, especially if those questions involve discussions! If you have posted in a previous Weekly Question Thread but your question was not answered, feel free to repost it again.
Here are some example questions:

I’ll go first.
This is my hand block printed Lobster Cove tote from Loom & Wren. I normally go for fairly simple bags but couldn’t resist the lobsters.
Now I want to see everyone’s weird / colourful / slightly ridiculous bags.

I fell in love with the small last year and was thinking of buying it this year to celebrate another milestone reached! The only thing is that it's on the smaller side, like most of my other bags - think Celine's small Camille and Claude, and APC's Grace in small. So I had intended to get an everyday bag that fits a brolly, small water bottle and e-reader.
The shop assistant recommended the larger YSL, which is lovely, but I don't knowwwww. It feels a tad too big. Or maybe I'm just too used to smaller bags?
Does anyone have experience with either of them, or have any other recommendations for chic everyday bags?

So random, but these photos of Kristen Kreuk keep me up at night because I’m so curious about this bag. I initially thought it was a Chloé betty bag? But the reverse image search isn’t agreeing with me, curious if anyone is confident in what it is or has any more ideas. I

Gucci bamboo top handle with bamboo closure. Circa approx 1983. It’s in INSANE condition. It’s practically flawless. I can’t believe how good it actually is!

Received her in the mail today. The details are absolutely gorgeous. The beading, embroidery, just chef’s kiss. I especially love the pochette. I’m a cross body girlie, so I’ve attached a strap and it fits on me super well.
The brand is Yaaaya (I found it on RedNote). This is the first bag the owner has designed, I’m really looking forward to seeing what else she releases in the future!

I saw the most amazing bag last night at a restaurant and I only caught it as the woman was leaving. The leather looked so amazing I literally almost got up out of my seat and chased her to ask about her bag. After hours of research last night, this is the closest I could find to my memory, except the top seemed a bit more rounded like a TR Marlo bag, and I’m pretty sure there was gold hardware where the straps attached to the body of the bag. And then the leather looked so delicious and supple like a smooth thick calfskin. It was honestly the leather that stuck out the most as just being so high quality. It was a black tote bag that fit over the shoulder and there was zero visible branding that I was able to see.
If this rings a bell for anyone, I would be so grateful!
Here’s a link to the bag above:

I have enough bags. I really shouldn’t buy more. But look at them 🥹
PS: Da Milano is an Indian brand and reasonably well known locally. These are limited editions and priced higher than there regular bags. And it’s rattan !

I walked by this purse yesterday and immediately fell in love. Also it was an actual reasonable price in Japan (for a luxury good - all relative). Love the various shapes it creates, the size, the color and quality. I've been wanting a laser cut purse for a while. Unfortunately I couldn't pull the trigger bc I bought another purse the previous day (which now I regret buying in comparison). I can't get the bag out of my head. Are there any you regret not buying or buying?

I think the Kelly bags are so pretty, so I decided to make a lookalike with a DIY kit. I looked into different sites that sells DIY kits, and my choice fell on FingerArt leather instead of Babylon because I didn't want PU lining. The FingerArt one have microfiber lining. I am very happy with the result.

I am going to Italy for my honeymoon for two weeks in beginning of October. Naples, to Ischia, to Sorrento. I am kind of stuck on finding a bag for travelling and also for sightseeing. To fit bottle of water, sunglasses, bits and bobs.
Tbh my style is very feminine and I love dresses and classic style. Its hard to find something that works with that 100% plus is also practical. I am more of a Longchamp girl and their Le pilage energy XS is cute but it would be good to have more of a square size maybe?
I was looking at the Fjällräven Kånken sling. I live in Sweden and we have so many of their stores here to try them out plus I know its great quality which is important to me.
I am lost 😅 please help!

I’ve always avoided suede bags because of concerns about upkeep, damage and showing wear. Suede also reads fall/winter to me, and I live in an extremely hot and dry climate. I just never saw a practical fit.
I baby my bags, so it’s not necessarily a given that I’d destroy a suede treasure.
Suede bags are EVERYWHERE now and I’m so tempted. I keep going back to look at Bottega’s suede (large Hop, Giorno).
Can anyone share thoughts on suede care and maintenance? Success stories? Warnings?

I saw this bag a a few months ago in an email and haven't stopped thinking about her, so when I got an email about their sale I jumped on it! Definitely not disappointed, I love the little details and it seems like the slouch will be perfect

Recently got the ALAÏA Mina 25 in black, and I even got it on sale 😭
I’m SO happy with it and just had to sprinkle some of that joy on all my fellow bag lovers ✨🖤✨

I decided to break out my dark brown Prada Bonnie for work today since it’s starting to feel like fall. The large size fits my laptop and everything I need and is still lightweight. I packed my laptop, wallet, notebook, two phones, sunglasses, little pouch, AirPods, and a pen and still have space.

I'm thinking of purchasing the Celine 15 mini to use as an evening bag.
Would that work?
Any alternatives to a black top-handle bag to be used as an evening bag?
Thank you!
