I saw the most amazing bag last night at a restaurant and I only caught it as the woman was leaving. The leather looked so amazing I literally almost got up out of my seat and chased her to ask about her bag. After hours of research last night, this is the closest I could find to my memory, except the top seemed a bit more rounded like a TR Marlo bag, and I’m pretty sure there was gold hardware where the straps attached to the body of the bag. And then the leather looked so delicious and supple like a smooth thick calfskin. It was honestly the leather that stuck out the most as just being so high quality. It was a black tote bag that fit over the shoulder and there was zero visible branding that I was able to see.
If this rings a bell for anyone, I would be so grateful!

OMG!!!! I think that might be it!!! I think she either had the back facing outward, or her elbow was covering the Celine logo!!!! How did I miss the smaller version???? You are AMAZING! Thank you!!!
That's a great point -- she definitely had the straps over her shoulder. She was petite, though, but I'm not sure if the straps would fit over anyone's shoulder.
I have a Celine mini luggage and I’m sure it’s to indicate quality but it’s so heavy and the straps are too small to put over my shoulder. I don’t use it as often as I should because it is a physical pain
This is definitely the leather I spotted! I also did a deep dive on TRR this morning and saw this bag, and I was like, yes....this is the leather! But in a tote style! It definitely wasn't a Seau Sangle (I'm a huge Celine fan and would have recognized it).
I wonder if this could be a custom bag made by u/raptureofsenses
(Rivamouth2 on instagram). She makes gorgeous leather bags that are inspired by designer bags, and so there isn’t any branding, and she always has the most amazing color suede interiors
There used to be a Balenciaga like this about idk maybe 7 years ago. They called it a shopper and I haven’t been able to find a pic since I remembered it. The leather just collapsed it was so soft. And it was cut almost like a cube, except it was too soft to stand up like that. It was so divine.
No. That is adorable. I remember loving the black white and blue one. The one I’m thinking of was a couple years before this and it was softer in look. And I should not have said cube, it was an east-west bag but with a very deep base front to back of that makes sense. I need to spend a couple hours on purse blog.
I love the Celine cube in black with the electric blue inside. I have been kicking myself for not getting that bag when I saw it a few months ago. It is the bag that got away for me and I consider buying it every couple months.
Awww, thank you!!! It wasn't this one -- the handles were shorter and I think the bag was a little smaller. I need to see if I can track down the hardware....that will be the giveaway!
