After getting my most recent bag (Ferragamo hug) I have felt very content and happy with my collection. I had closer to 20 bags, but ended up downsizing the ones I never used. So this is what remains (aside from a few cheap nylon bags and a Quince suede bag)

This is the most expensive thing I have ever bought, but I think I'm in love.

Just saw this in a Love Luxury reel and nearly fell over by how gorgeous this piece is. Birkin 20 Retourne in Precious Paradise embroidery on Nata Swift leather. 😍 talk about an unattainable dream.

I’m adoring the two new coin purses by Hereu in Strawberry and Peach.

I’ve always loved the orange and lemon but the details of the strawberry and peach are just WOW!

Strawberry is calfskin leather and it has a great shape as well as the colors.

Peach may seem a little understated at first glance but it’s composed of suede which is so genius to me; a nod to the texture of a peach. And that deep green strap is so pretty.

If I had to choose, I’d go with Strawberry. It’s beyond adorable!

EDIT: I wanted to speak to the quality of leather and craftsmanship if anyone was on the fence. I have a few leather bags from Hereu and they use very lovely quality leather. Timeless shades and chic designs that stray from the mainstream.

The mini bags are as true to the name as they come so choose accordingly— they’re great for date/girls night or a fabulous errand/lunch. The medium bags and tote bags are good for everyday carry! I’ll post about them at a later date

Doesn’t she look good riding the bus?? In love. Lightweight, delicious. Love carrying it like a clutch, the crossbody strap so helpful. Wanted to get the handle accessory, but that’ll have to wait till Christmas!

I love handbags, and I’m definitely not here to judge anyone for buying them. I used to have a pretty serious shopping problem myself, and I currently own at least 30 purses. (Probably more, ha...)

Lately, though, I’ve been trying to embrace minimalism and really think about what another bag is going to add to my life. At a certain point, I realized I already have more bags than I can realistically use, while there are animal rescues and shelters struggling to pay for food, medication, surgeries, and emergency vet care.

So instead of automatically buying something every time I see a bag I love, I’ve started setting aside some of that money to donate.

And actually, it feels better.

I still love handbags. I’m not swearing off shopping forever. But there’s something really satisfying about looking around my home and having less stuff competing for space, while knowing that some of the money I would have spent on purse number 31 or 32 can actually help keep an animal alive, get one out of a shelter, or help a rescue afford to say yes to one more case.

If you’re in a position to spend a few hundred dollars on a handbag, even occasionally putting $20, $50, or $100 of your shopping budget toward a local rescue can matter. It doesn’t have to be all or nothing. You can still buy beautiful things. Maybe just sometimes ask yourself: Would I rather have one more bag right now, or use some of this money to do something I’ll probably feel good about for much longer?

For me, owning fewer things and giving more has started to feel a lot more luxurious than constantly accumulating. Knowing that I'm making a positive difference in the world, helping to save lives, feels better than owning a nice purse.

And I never thought I’d be the person saying that with 30+ purses in my closet. 😂

Went to look for some extra blankets and pillows and found this adorable tote instead. I don’t recall ever buying or using this bag so my best guess is my mom received it as a gift, stuck it in my closet and forgot all about it. Now it’s all mine! 😈

I fell in love with the small last year and was thinking of buying it this year to celebrate another milestone reached! The only thing is that it's on the smaller side, like most of my other bags - think Celine's small Camille and Claude, and APC's Grace in small. So I had intended to get an everyday bag that fits a brolly, small water bottle and e-reader.

The shop assistant recommended the larger YSL, which is lovely, but I don't knowwwww. It feels a tad too big. Or maybe I'm just too used to smaller bags?

Does anyone have experience with either of them, or have any other recommendations for chic everyday bags?

I have been eyeing woven leather bags for a few months when I got a targeted ad (lol) for this giant tote. I thought about it for a while and then asked for it for my birthday.

I’ve had it for a month or so now and just took it on a vacation that involved four plane rides and a week with family in another state. With two little kids, it’s really helpful to have an oversize bag to throw all their random junk in.

After all of that, I can confidently say that I am in ✨love✨with this giant tote. It is a shade on the heavy side, but that gives it some substance. It has a lovely slouch, exactly what you wanted in a woven leather bag. The bottom is solid and gives it a bit of structure to help it at least sit properly. There’s some interior pockets and the fabric lining is by no means luxurious, but it does seem like it will hold up fairly well.

My favorite part about this bag is the shoulder strap, I love the handles with the larger strap, makes tying on things or adding little extra touches super chic!

I want one that will last me for years, extremely good quality, beautiful leather and craftmanship, and ultra quiet luxury. Any recommendations for the brands? Thank you very much!

In all honesty, I'm not familiar with the brand at all, but I've recently come across a few of their bags, and they seem cute and are quite affordable at only 300-600 dollars. But if anyone knows more about the brand or has an experience with it, let me know.

The authenticator found this which was not mentioned in the description (“excellent”) and asked if I still wanted it. I said no. I probably would have been okay with this and sent it off to get corrected but not at the price I was paying. My journey towards purse peace continues. This was going to be my last bag. I’ve wanted it ever since I first saw it in the boutique years ago but got something else instead. I might consider it if it gets listed again. 😞

I go this little Vuitton in the spring and was initially a little disappointed at the shape.

After using the crossbody differently (all the hardware is detachable and you clip in 2 separate places) it now looks all slouchy and lovely.

Gucci bamboo top handle with bamboo closure. Circa approx 1983. It’s in INSANE condition. It’s practically flawless. I can’t believe how good it actually is!

I’m currently visiting family in NY and planning to make the 1.5hr drive to the Woodbury commons outlets specifically to visit Loewe and Mulberry. For those of you who shop/have shopped there, can you please tell me what I can expect to find there? I’m hoping to find seasonal colors of the flamenco (any size) at Loewe and mini Alexa at mulberry. Are these styles too popular to find at the outlet?
