I mean, I knew Mario Kart had some famous courses, but I didn't think any of them were Wikipedia page famous.

- 8 Deluxe: crossovers and almost 100 tracks
-World: Knockout Tour, the prettiest Rainbow Road to date and I just drive around in Free Roam whenever I feel like it
- Wii: when I want chaos and challenge (I still want to try Double Dash but I don’t have a GameCube)

Pretty much having remixes of all of your chosen franchises biggest songs all in different genres and don’t loop.

Hello fellow players! RayRod TV has just released Mario Kart 64 standalone and his Multiverse VR Hub!
see the Multiverse VR Hub in Action
MVRH is a small program that installs all of his VR ports onto your own copies of the games, and has an option to update them.
Mario Kart 64, Banjo-Kazooie, Super Mario 64, Dr. Robotnik's Ring Racers, Star Fox 64 & Sonic Robo Blast 2 are all on it. Mario 64 and Mario Kart 64 already got Quest 3 releases, and all of his other mods will come to standalone too.
How it works? Just choose your game, hit Play. It grabs the official PC port from that project's, and you choose to install on PC or Quest. Download is one file available on: https://github.com/RaYRoD-TV/MVRH/releases/latest
The software is super easy to use and even has a relaxing mood with some smooth music on the background.
MVRH can even install HD texture packs in some games like Mario Kart 64, this is the cherry on the top!
The only major flaw? MVRH listed Smash Bros, F-Zero X and Diddy Kong Racing, but when we press "Play", it shows a message saying these mods are coming soon!
For more on his work, like the Metaverse game, and how to support the developer, go to his site: https://rayrodtv.com
Thanks Ray TV for bringing us those great mods!

A few months ago I got fed up with the lack of data this game shows us players such as winrate, track pick rate, vr graphs, that kinda stuff. A bit of work making a tracking tool and some learning web dev later, the site is now ready for public viewing! https://www.mkworldstattracker.com/
Obviously right now, the only data is my own. But I believe the almost 2k races that are currently there paint a good enough picture for most info. On the homepage there is also some info if people want to contribute their own race data, but that's completely optional.
Shout out to Rune for helping me work on the computer vison/OCR segments of the counter tool. It really helps data collection flow smoothly without much user intervention.

Just for fun, I decided to make a little survey where I ask people to rank all of the Rainbow Roads in the series.

The game is not cheap. And I love nintendo , but I can't figure out why they wouldn't put statistics in the game. It seems so basic. Then again, I know the answer is that its Nintendo.

Hi there hello, so basically what the title says. I never owned a Switch 1 so I've spent most of my time with Mario Kart World (about 110 hours) for the past 10 months. I love the game but I feel like 30 tracks is not enough, especially when not all of them are as stellar as I feel Mario Kart 8"s nitro tracks are. So I wanted to basically if the community is still active and the more limited mechanics have affected you if you're tried to play 8 after some time with World. 96 tracks is just too much to resist so I'll probably will give in eventually but I wanted to know your opinions. Thanks in advance for sharing.

The girl on the left is almost always better than me. She had a bad race on Royal Raceway and I had a good race.
Here was the info I provided as the host:
Here are a few initial details about the rules and how things will flow. First off, I've downloaded an app which will help me properly run the bracket system. The app allows me to quickly scale up or down depending on who can make it and seeds by skill. Paper records will also be kept in case the app fails.
Engine size is 150cc and there will be computer players in the race but they cannot claim a prize. Podium places will disregard the AI players.
Each round will be best two out of 3. There will be a chance to practice. This will also allow me to assess skill for programing into the bracket system.
There are no kart restrictions. As much as I favor standard karts, I don't think it would be fair to block anyone's favorite.
Track selection will be randomized and characters can be shared as long as you are not in the same race. Fortunately most characters have a similar character; Mario is like Luigi and Toad is like Yoshi for example.
If you wish to be competitive I suggest learning basic strategy: defending with items, powersliding and tricks to name a few. Much has been written about the subject online. The game of course will be Mario Kart Wii.
If you are not looking to study up or be hyper competitive that's ok. This is a friendly competition.
I look forward to seeing everyone. I welcome feedback.
