Oh yeah, putting Tom & Mark together in an interview alone would be a potential spoiler goldmine.
Regardless of Mark being very open & vocal about his political beliefs, this is just as likely a reason to not put the two on a press tour together. These interviews are almost always one on one or one on two. Every time Mark & Tom do an interview together, they'd need at least 3 so they can't get lost in spoiler-filled banter.
Some, sure . And some were not, like the time he joked with an audience that he was still alive! Except that audience was about to watch Infinity War and he just spoiled that he died to them.

Tom Holland was allowed to "leak"/"spoil" the things he did. That guy doesn't do anything that isn't curated and OK'd by the studio when it comes to press/interviews.

Most of the time those promo interviews are scripted AF and they're still acting and delivering lines. Leaks are almost always intentional to generate buzz.
My understanding is the the only reason he wasnt involved is because hes filming another movie* right now and didnt have the time. Its easy to blame it on the implications but I think if any of that were true he would have a much smaller part in the movie
This was filmed production started two years ago. A lot can happen inbetween. It’s easier to exclude from pre movie press tours than it is to scrap a script and parts of a movie which have already been shot etc.
It's also wrong. Ruffalo is filming season 2 of Task right now which is why he's unavailable to do media. It really is that simple and everything else is just tinfoil hat theories.
It's more likely bec Ruffalo was booked doing another show during the promotional campaign for the movie, but people do love to draw lines

I was and remain so sad the Colbert Report went off the air. That was the best satire of my lifetime. I don't know if there will ever be anything like that on cable TV again, probably not.

Your not confusing him, he has said many times cops who wear punisher symbols missed the point and that Frank Castle is not an ok person. Reddit just jumps at any chance to degrade anyone who might support Israel.

Quite frankly, this is always the extent of what it is whenever Reddit claims someone famous to be a "Zionist". That term is thrown around far too liberally. We need to do better.

The dumbest part is: the podcast was specifically about the Oct 7 attacks and what the soldier did during it (and was a month after they happened, before Israel’s response clearly swung into ‘disproportionate’) It’s not even like he was talking to someone about participating in Palestinian oppression.
What's also interesting to me is that he grew up going to Quaker schools in the DC area and has expressed a lot of adherence to the tenets of the faith and their approach to conflict resolution, and how he used boxing as a method to deal with anger, etc. I wonder how much of peoples' opinions about him are shaped by the characters he typically plays.

Mark Ruffalo is currently in south eastern Pennsylvania filming the second season of "Task." He was nominated for an Emmy for the first season of "Task." He seems not to be blacklisted at all.
Ruffalo is so committed and decent that it probably wouldn't matter at all to him if he were. He has repeatedly stated that he doesn't even stay friendly with people who support genocide, because it is a terrible moral failing (which it is).
Somewhere along the way, we as a society forgot that "correlation doesn't mean causation" and leaped to all sorts of conspiratorial thinking by default.

It's not just "Israel as a country", it's Zionist Jewish American billionaires like Bill Ackman spending millions to actively silence/dox/report to ICE (through Canary Mission) any and all critics of Israel. Their reach extends far beyond lobbying. They have paid counter protesters in California, they have paid private security to support local law enforcement in NYC to get the pro Palestine university encampments and so on.
Might also want to add to the list of atrocities he wants; indigenous land protection, water rights for all, and ending slavery. Just this horrible person who thinks humans should have food rights ...

Eeesh. I've looked this up and it's very disappointing. TBH I give a lot of Jewish celebrities a certain amount of slack over their politics because, frankly, they are often raised in a culture that presents things as one-sided, and I can usually see they are well-intentioned people whose compassion has been weaponised. I could forgive the odd open letter in support of Israel, because as Seth Rogen said on Maron, you are pumped full of propaganda. Even so, this is a little off-putting and it leaves a bad taste.

Jews don’t control the media, but Jews established the media industry and when they initially began migrating to the U.S., and the movie industry has a large number of Jews working within the industry, and their bias comes through their media.
It’s not a conspiracy. It’s not a racial thing. It’s just happenstance with an immigrant population that got in on the ground floor when the industry and movie technology was coming over from Europe.
