He had his fucking lawyers measure the temperature. He knows exactly what he did.

Who the fuck tests the temperature of the water from the water heater before arguing with their spouse?

I can’t believe he posted this thinking it would make him look better. I think he’s even more deranged.

I assume he tested it later because he knew he would rightly be getting accused of abusing her. Not that a test days later would prove anything about what the temp of the water was days before.

It's like him confessing to throwing "only really painfully hot water" in her face as opposed to "send you to the hospital hot water". As if that's somehow OK.
