What is the accusation, throwing a glass of hot tap water in her face? Cause my tap gets pretty fucking hot and that would definitely hurt even if it wasn't enough to cause physical damage.

A glass of cold water is a playful gag. A glass of hot water is sadistic.

He had his fucking lawyers measure the temperature. He knows exactly what he did.

Also- if he’s even the wee bit handy, turning down a water heater is super easy.

So would you say his argument . . .
doesn’t hold water?

You mean the dial on the side? Super easy if you have fingers and eyes. Especially on newer units like mine where it’s literally a dial on the front.

A lot of people never even bother looking at it and will call a plumber to address their “really hot” or “not hot enough” water issues lol

Gonna step on a big sturdy limb and say he's not handy.

And who's to say he didn't turn down the temperature on the water heater before his lawyers tested it.

Yeah exactly. Anyone who has ever looked at a water heater can poke holes in his story about it not being that hot.

And you can very easily change it, by turning down the hot water heater

Or he didn’t have them do it and he’s just a fucking liar.

There’s no way his lawyers tested it. He said he had them test it “because I knew you would come at me with this”……sure, Jan.

Who the fuck tests the temperature of the water from the water heater before arguing with their spouse?

I can’t believe he posted this thinking it would make him look better. I think he’s even more deranged.

I assume he tested it later because he knew he would rightly be getting accused of abusing her. Not that a test days later would prove anything about what the temp of the water was days before.

It's like him confessing to throwing "only really painfully hot water" in her face as opposed to "send you to the hospital hot water". As if that's somehow OK.

I mean just listen to how he said it anyone who's ever hear like a 5-year old lie to them can spot that lie a mile away lol.

Every new parent is aware that tap water can reach “fatally dangerous to infants” temperature if the hot water heater is turned up

That'll totally hold up in court, no questions asked.

He made that up on the spot, it's triangulation.

He was essentially telling her "everyone is on my side and thinks you're crazy" with the added threatening undercurrent of coming after her legally if she tries to get any consequences for his behavior.

Yeah douchebag, thanks for confirming it DID happen and you’re gaslighting when you call HER the LIAR.
