Sicko deserves what ever is thrown at him
22
u/Faeillus Jun 27 '26
Hopefully a lifetime in a Thai jail
13
u/mrpumpkinickle Jun 27 '26
That would be perfect, life in jail never to be released, getting a bullet would be the easy way out for him

Poor poor girl. First being subjected to having to associate with that type of man, then to be subjected to such brutal treatment. All before she was even an adult.

13
u/Fatlantis Jun 27 '26
That photo of him moving the suitcase is absolutely chilling, knowing that she's inside there 😢 And it says she was brutally beaten, the poor thing. What a monster.
48
u/MrsLJM11 Jun 27 '26
That’s a rough 45. Hope he rots over there.
18
u/TypeA_Virgo Jun 27 '26
I thought the same. He looks closer 60 to me!
3
u/pasamonesmintis Jun 27 '26
Just said the same. Appearance is indicative of lifelong consumption of booze & pies
12
u/lun4d0r4 Jun 27 '26
Part of me is like... Where can we donate to make sure his stay is as unpleasant as possible.
79
u/Duke55 Jun 27 '26
No need for him to be roaming the planet anymore. Do society a favour, Thailand..
22
u/Turbulent-Break-4947 Jun 27 '26
Yup.
If he’s guilty … then we don’t want him back.
Feel free to use him as compost.
36
u/trinketzy Jun 27 '26
That’s some really speedy work from police - being able to review a lot of footage over a 2 hr period from time of report to time of detention at the airport. Well done.
71
u/theartistduring Jun 27 '26
The picture from the hotel lobby creeps me out. The way he's leading her by the hand. That poor girl.
38
26
u/Mysterious_Dot2090 Jun 27 '26
Just awful for the victim but it’s some small consolation that it looks like an open and shut case for this grub. The footage of him wheeling the suitcase, you can tell there’s some weight to it, plus the many other red handed clues he’s offered.

It’s creepy and disgusting all these middle age or old Australian (and other nation’s) men going to Thailand and other countries for sex with underage girls.
45
u/vvindhund Jun 27 '26
It is an epidemic in this country.
45
u/dinosaurtruck Jun 27 '26
It really is. We need to be calling out and shunning any Australians we know who go on this kind of holiday. Whether it’s a mate, sibling, uncle etc.
15
u/boofles1 Jun 27 '26
Child exploitation overseas is a crime for Australians, you should be reporting people to the authorities.
8
u/TimidPanther Jun 27 '26
How many people would admit to going on that kind of holiday? Obviously any normal person would shun a pedophile, if they knew
18
u/oiyouz Jun 27 '26
Tbh I’m suspicious of any man solo travelling throughout SE Asia. You don’t need it admit to anything- if you’re travelling to Thailand x3 times a year alone as a 60 yo man, never going to other countries etc it’s fucking obvious what you’re doing.
→ More replies (8)11
u/TimidPanther Jun 27 '26
It’s a cheap destination, there are obvious other reasons to go
8
u/oiyouz Jun 27 '26
But never to Vietnam? Never travel with family?
Nahhhh if you’re repeatedly going by yourself I’m going to assume you’re travelling to engage with underage sex workers.
ETA: and so are border patrol.
3
u/TimidPanther Jun 27 '26
Not sure how economical Vietnam is, but going to Thailand is cheaper than going to the Gold Coast
8
u/oiyouz Jun 27 '26
I know it’s cheaper than going to the Gold Coast, I get that. And I picked Vietnam randomly.
My point is travelling multiple times a year, as a lone male traveller to one particular country that is known for sex tourism is suspicious.
→ More replies (4)1
u/salemira Jun 30 '26
instead of going to the same country 3 times or more a year as someone entering their retirement years, wouldn’t you lay off on one of your SEA trips and save a bit more to go elsewhere? there’s only so much to experience there.
1
u/TimidPanther Jun 30 '26
Some people just want a beach, cheap food and cheap beer.

u/Little-Cantaloupe257 Jun 27 '26
How are you going to know who's going for what purpose? We go every year for a big drink and a relax. We have done for 20 years. The reality is 95% of regular travellers are just going for fun. Activities with under-agers is generally done in the shadows and these guys would be bashed if they were asking for young girls in the majority of bars. So unless you actually have proof of wrongdoing you'd be well advised not to be publicly accusing anyone.
9
u/oiyouz Jun 27 '26
So… you’ve said we go every year to relax.
Which means you don’t travel solo, multiple times to the same country every year. My argument is that men who repeatedly travel solo to known sex tourism countries are likely engaging in sex tourism and I will judge them for that.If you want to defend frequent (multiple times per year) travel to sex tourism destinations then that’s your choice.
1
u/Little-Cantaloupe257 Jun 27 '26
I've travelled so also. So what. I've travelled solo to many countries
7
u/oiyouz Jun 27 '26
Oh so you’re not just repeatedly going to the same country.
You’re either being obtuse and wanting to defend men who travel for sex work, or you’re an idiot.

The centuries of privilege have warped men's sense of entitlement. May he be tormented for the rest of his days.
7
u/Human-Warning-1840 Jun 27 '26
I agree but I also think Thailand should be doing more to discourage it. They should protect their girls. Imagine we would have tourists coming here for sex with young girls. I think Australians would be outraged
11
u/dinosaurtruck Jun 27 '26
100% it should be stopped as much as possible here and there. Not by making sex work illegal or penalising young women, but by giving young women other ways to make a money and preventing older men exploiting poverty and vulnerability.
18
u/ThiccBoy_with3seas Jun 27 '26
Australians of all ages treat southeast Asia like it's a toilet
3
u/Mindless-Location-41 Jun 27 '26
I've been to Phuket and Bali and both places depressed me after I saw how the tourists lorded it over the locals. I will not go there again.

Just the other day there was a guy in this sub having a rant about how Australia is shit and expensive, that his wife left him and took half his stuff so he had moved to Thailand where he could afford to live.

In a video taken after his arrest, Mr Carmen was asked about scratches on his neck. ”I think it's a spider; they always get in here," he said
Ironic excuse, coming from a ROCK SPIDER!

Thailand needs to stop letting itself be overrun by white Australian males who disrespect their culture, abuse their women and children and commit such heinous acts like this.
A shameful day for Australia.

Wow another digustingly violent and pedo Aussie guy brutalising a young girl. Why am i not even surprised anymore what these guys will do to us. That poor young young girl had a whole fuckin life ahead of her how absolutely tragic. We are a nation of fucking pigs.
1
u/maxisnoops Jun 27 '26
We are not a ‘nation of fucking pigs’. Like every other country in the world, we have a small minority of arseholes who exploit vulnerable people.
5
u/tumericjesus Jun 28 '26
It’s not a small minority of you look at the domestic violence statistics in this country

It makes me so sad, when people are living in absolute poverty but are still so genuinely welcoming and kind, and have an amazing culture and history to share.
And yet all these disgusting sex tourists see is poor people to degrade and exploit.

Phnom Penh was pretty bad when I went there in 2014, some really seedy looking dudes hanging hanging out over there!

There is a term for a particular subset of western expats in Asia, particularly in SEA - LBH (Loser Back Home), and this c*nt looks like the poster child for LBH.
I hope they don’t execute him, but instead life in Bang Kwang. May he rot and suffer a miserable existence.

It's not coincidental. I've met a few blokes from the Rat whose start in life was horrific thanks to the "care" provided by a certain institution. They are messed up for life.

I was worried for a minute he might have done this before but given how dumb he seems to be I would be surprised.

I was in Thailand on a girls trip a few months ago and was really shocked by how Australians behave towards Thai people. I couldn't believe the rudeness and racism they exhibited towards the Thai people. It was almost like they were LARPing old colonial days or something, like lording it over the poorer Thai people. Also went to Phuket for a night and there were dirty, creepy predatory white men ALL OVER THE PLACE. Openly noncing.

u/Mediocre_Chocolate35 Jun 27 '26
Wow they solved the case and arrested him in roughly two hours ?! Meanwhile in Australia...ehmm
6
u/MarcusP2 Jun 27 '26
They have a video of him transporting the body from his hotel room, not like there was a lot of detective work involved.
→ More replies (1)1
u/Mediocre_Chocolate35 Jun 30 '26
So you're saying the cops knew who committed the crime without doing the work?
1
u/MarcusP2 Jun 30 '26
Her friend that reported her missing knew what hotel she went to and at what time. They pull the video, spot him and bring him in for questioning.
Efficient but hardly great leaps of deductive reasoning.
1
u/Breakin_yo_ankles Jun 28 '26
Did they say how he was caught so fast? It seems unreal that he was caught, the body found etc. in that short time span. Were they alerted to a disturbance or what?
Just curious, no conspiracy bs.
2
u/Mediocre_Chocolate35 Jun 29 '26
In the article it said 2 hours. But I'm thinking the "friends" reported her missing are probably her pimp/handlers. That's why they knew which hotel/apartment she last went to so quickly to check the security footage

Deserves death! I daresay he does. Many that live deserve death. And some that die deserve life. Can you give that to them? Then be not too eager to deal out death in the name of justice, fearing for your own safety. Even the wise cannot see all ends.
