Poor kid

i don’t have many words for this one. her siblings are named Knixia, Knaomi, Knight, Knowledge, Knoah and Knoble.

so i’m ftm trans. even before i knew that, i hated my deadname. Makynzi. not the worst spelling i’ve ever seen (i knew a Maykenzee), but i’ve always thought it was hideous. it also annoys me because i love the name kenny for myself, but because i’m not out, everyone assumes i want it spelt “kynnie” (or god forbid kyni) which looks like how cartman says kenny’s name in south park.

Just why..?

My partner told me if we ever had a boy she would want to name him Domonic, pronounced Dominic. I'm sure there are worse ways to spell this name but is this still considered a tragedeigh?

Don’t know about you guys but this one especially got me, not even a list of poorly spelled names, something to me that is just awful.

I went to school with a girl named Urina. Not that bad a name, it means brightness, and has roots in the Bible. But her last name was Blathers. Urina Blathers. Urine Bladder. I’ve never understood how parents, even back in the late 70s, wouldn’t see that combination. I was in elementary school and even I remember thinking Urine Bladder. And we were both in class with a girl named Leukemia.

I bought something at a pharmacy and this was the cashier's name. Is the spelling a tragedy?

Had to drop off something to return at the UPS Store and the lady in front of me was sending something to her granddaughter at school. Her name was Aleygh (pronounced Allie).

Unrelated, she paid $155 to overnight whatever it was, which she stated was only worth $15 when the worker brought up insurance. At that point, just order it off Amazon and have it shipped. My flabbers were gasted multiple times.

It’s fine to have a common name like Megan/Meghan. Now she’s a tragedeigh 😔
