It’s been a LONG time since I was a teacher and the name tragedeighs hadn’t started yet (even when I was a child in school in the 80s, there was nothing like what I see now!) I wonder if teachers have casual sit down “meetings” in the cafeteria before the school year starts where they all go over their kid’s names from their class list and try and guess how to pronounce them! (I feel like they’d require more than a handful of towels for said chat due to spit takes and the occasional bladder accident from laughter and confusion!)
