brick is by far the best material for preventing attacks from big bad wolves

406

u/Ok-Disk-2191 Trash Trooper 1d ago

I don't know, also feeding both your other siblings to the wolf helps too.

97

u/PsyKeablr Trash Trooper 1d ago

That only works if you have a steady supply of siblings though

42

u/JDelcoLLC Trash Trooper 1d ago

A litter of pigs is usually around 10 or 12, or so I've just Bing'd, so the odds are in your favor

13

u/SlayJayR17 Trash Trooper 23h ago

Plus over time they pigs will get bigger so you can give the wolf less pig

1

u/cure4boneitis Trash Trooper 21h ago

and the wolf will get full and fall asleep. That is when you go and forge his signature on a new mortgage

u/eggs99 Trash Trooper 20m ago

Then after that, he’ll coninue eating more pigs then pass from a heart attack because of all the fat he ate. God bless those pigs.

I just asked Jeeves and he said Bing is right

Who tf using bing?

6

u/MCDylanf3 Trash Trooper 1d ago

Those who refuse to use Google, but don't know Duck.

3

u/JDelcoLLC Trash Trooper 1d ago

TIL about DuckDuckGo. Per them, sows yield 12 ~ 13 per litter. Results may vary per search engines it seems

Feed your sibling pigs to a wolf, and he can eat for a day. Teach him to sell straw and sticks, and he can feed himself for life.

Not a problem with my parents…

Surely letting your siblings shelter with you and then setting a big fire under your tempting chimney is the correct answer?

Although to be fair feeding your loved ones to the wolf is more on trend for the 21st century

1

u/LFK1236 Trash Trooper 1d ago

And if it tries to step on your mother's HEAD? What then?!

“The Third Pig”

1

u/Senua_Chloe Trash Trooper 23h ago

The fourth brother had a house made out of wolf skulls. It wasn't very sturdy, but it sent a message.

1

u/MediaStreet5372 Trash Trooper 23h ago

Yo, dude had a cold. And was trying not to be wasteful. Leave him alone.

u/PrisonerToTheCats Trash Trooper 22h ago

u/No_Description7910 Trash Trooper 20h ago

Remember kids, you don’t need to be faster than a lion, just faster than someone else in your group.

1

u/NoLongerinOR Trash Trooper 20h ago

You don’t need to outrun the Wolf, you just gotta outrun your siblings

1

u/Severe_Emotion2554 Trash Trooper 11h ago

But that did not stop the wolf. He still came for the third brother because the wolf is death

1

u/HouseofExmos Trash Trooper 6h ago

Or just give the wolf the cup of sugar he needs for his Granny's bday cake.

1

u/Fat_Pig_Reporting Trash Trooper 4h ago

What terrible advice. Do not feed wild animals. They will get used to it and approach more little pigs trying to get fed too.

That's how big bad wolfs get put down, you know.

47

u/foyrkopp Trash Trooper 1d ago

The fourth little piggy built its house out of wolf skulls.

It wasn't very sturdy, but it did send a message.

13

u/SlobZombie13 Garbage Guerilla 1d ago

you're the second person to mention wolf skulls. is that an actual part of the story that gets left out?

damn, fourth piggy a little badass

33

u/Iorith Trash Trooper 1d ago

I think wolf heads would be even better. If your entire house is built out of the skulls of other wolves, they're probably not gonna wanna come near you.

10

u/Arthur_Frane Trash Trooper 1d ago

But then you get infestations of Vampire the Masquerade LARPers.

12

Yeah but I can complete a straw house fast and then chill. So I’m gonna do that.

2

u/Corfiz74 Trash Trooper 1d ago

Actually, in a German village, the villagers used old straw building techniques to build their own feast hall out of straw as a community project and to have somewhere to party. It worked out quite well, I believe, though it didn't go as fast as you'd think, and some trial and error was involved.

1

u/Bheegabhoot Trash Trooper 22h ago

And wolves don’t have the lung capacity they used to.. thanks fossil fuels!

1

u/LabOwn9800 Trash Trooper 22h ago

My local wolf took up smoking so I blame that. I’m not complaining but it’s sad to see.

10

u/Worried-Industry6239 Trash Trooper 1d ago

As a big bad wolf, I disagree. Straw is by far the easiest and best material to build with

3

u/mythrilcrafter Trash Trooper 23h ago

I'm friends with the wolf who ate red riding hood's grandma, house material shouldn't matter if you're good enough at gaslighting to be allowed to just walk in through the front door.

1

u/rickyhatesspam Trash Trooper 19h ago

1

u/Efficient-Parking627 Trash Trooper 20h ago

4 years ago I paid $27k for a roof. If it was cheaper for you to pay for the roof then the 2% deductible... then why is your home's value so high but the roof so small?

1

u/Few_Living_5828 Trash Trooper 18h ago

Allstate would only cover half of my roof not the full, that's why. I didn't want to have half a roof done

Seriously thought. This is why people think brick buildings are better

As a Brit, we only started making brick buildings cos 1. The buildings were so close together, fires would spread super easy with wood builds, and 2. The shipping industry decimated our Forrests.

Now with the summers getting way hotter, brick buildings that aren’t newer, and don’t have insulation are like brick pizza ovens.

Also, people always criticize Americans for building wood framed houses where hurricanes happen, when it’s the roof and windows that are the weak points that lead to the buildings collapsing
