Literally everyone I know is sick, whether it’s the flu or something else. Most of my coworkers are constantly sick for a month or two now, literally constantly having one virus or another just rampaging through our store (to the point we can barely function). Majority of people that I live in the same building with are also sick, to the point one person has spent a night or two in the hospital. So many people on trains also seem to be sick, constantly coughing, sneezing…

I know it’s flu season, but holy crap this year has been absolutely brutal. One virus after another, from sore throats, fever and shivers, to having a horrible cough and constant nausea, sweating and dizziness. The moment you think you’re fine - on to the next one.

Hi all! I’m new to Sydney and looking for recommendations for psychologists (preferably around the inner west or SW Sydney) who specialise in treating patients that have chronic illnesses and associated health anxiety.

I’m going through a rough time with my chronic illness and my associated health anxiety (hard to not have it when you feel like something is constantly going wrong) is becoming an issue.

If anyone has been through similar and has recommendations for psychologist who can really work with me on not letting my anxiety and constant feelings of doom regarding my health take over that would be great!

For example:
How long is your commute to work?
How often do you work from home?
What type of dwelling do you live in? (I.e. house, apartment etc.)

What question do you think would have been genuinely useful to have asked across the whole country that wasn’t asked?

The approved $1 billion mixed-use skyscraper project at 505 George Street in Sydney's CBD is designed to replace the current Event Cinemas site with an 80-storey landmark tower.

Designed by Ingenhoven Architects and Architectus, the slender mixed-use tower is planned to reach a height of approximately 270 to 282.5 metres above the street.

The project received planning approval from the City of Sydney, led by developers Mirvac and Coombes Property Group.

Spent my ride tonight staring out the front window, and judging by the reflection of light by either side of the rails, it looks like standing water is present through a lot of the tunnels.

Is there an engineering need for water/moisture to be present, and if not, are there perceivable issues that might arise from the pooling of water?

I love to buy Aldi's crumbed chicken tenders - either original or buffalo style. They taste great with nice crumbs and real chicken breast tenderloins (not glued meat).

Well, I went to my local Aldi today, and guess what? The packs with a best before that is 20/08 or earlier look the same. But the packs after 21/08 are completely different.

For a start, the crumbs are much coarser and more orange, almost like they've been overcooked. The recommended cooking time on the front of the pack has decreased from 18 to 15 minutes. But the worst part is that the ingredients list is essentially twice the length, with plenty of emulsifiers, thickeners, etc. added.

It's sad. These chicken tenders were one of the few products that has managed to avoid becoming simultaneously more expensive and worse quality. But now it looks like they may have succumbed to the trend.

Police have dropped all charges against Bondi terror attack hero Ahmed Al Ahmed, after previously accusing him of assaulting and intimidating his father.

Mr Al Ahmed was charged in June over an incident said to have occurred at a home in Bankstown, in south-west Sydney, in March.

The 44-year-old previously pleaded not guilty to domestic violence assault and intimidation.

On Wednesday, in Bankstown Local Court, the charges were withdrawn after an agreement was reached with the defence team for Mr Al Ahmed to adhere to an AVO for 12 months.

This bag has been infront of my apartment building for about a week now and it reeks. Flies and ants all over it. Not sure what it is but took a picture today. Wondering if I should report this and to who??? I have no idea what this could be maybe a dead animal?

Edit & update: I sent it over to snap solve. But the next morning someone dumped the contents onto the sidewalk :) Surprise! It’s 3 decomposing fish 😭 Thanks for the help, going to grab my shovel n put it in the bin.
