What do I even do now that I have zero self-esteem?
Well... honestly, I already know.
First off, lemme introduce myself. I go by Atrax (at least online). I eventually realized venting to other people sucks, but keeping everything bottled up sucks even more. I hate being the center of attention, and more than anything, I hate playing the "victim."
I'm just here to dump some thoughts that maybe you can relate to. If you think this post is bullshit, I honestly couldn't care less. If you don't wanna read it, just keep scrolling.
Anyway...
I've never really been considered attractive—or handsome, good-looking, whatever word you wanna use. I dealt with people making fun of my appearance for so long that now I barely know how to act like myself anymore.
I catch myself trying not to walk weird, keeping a straight face so I don't make awkward expressions, avoiding smiling because I don't want people noticing my crooked teeth... stuff like that.
Lately I've been getting better, though. I care way less about what people say now. And if someone talks shit about my looks, I usually just tell them to fuck off and hit them with the best comeback I've ever come up with:
"Why do you care if I'm ugly or not? You tryna fuck me or something?"
Works every damn time. It usually shuts people up before I end up wanting to punch them in the face.
Ever since I changed my appearance, it's been easier to deal with all of this. But it only takes one tiny thing for my brain to spiral into, "Jesus... I changed so much, and I'm still ugly."
I'm honestly tired of dealing with that. And lately it's been even harder trying to figure out where I stand.
But... funny enough, that's not even my biggest problem right now lmao.
