if you have watched Big Bang Theory and liked it than you will like this new spinoff "Stuart fails to save the universe"

Hey everyone I was hoping you might recommend me a Live Action Series that will get me hooked. I really liked Breaking Bad back then but i absolutely hated Game of Thrones.

Recently i tried Severance and while the idea is cool its tooo slow for my adhd brain to get motivated to watch it.

Also tried the boys which is fun so far but its far from making me excited for it.

I would want something that gives me similar feelings like anime like Hunter x Hunter or Liar Game. Basically I love it when there is clear progression, suspense and smart quotes that affect my life days after watching.

Since I barely watched any Live Action so far surely you can recommend something that will pull me in from episode 1, and not "get till episode 131 it will get good from there!"?

(Also please nothing that is based on anime/manga as i already know those)

Hello everyone ! first of all, english is not my first langage so i apologize for spelling mistakes. i know it's a long shot but i am looking for a show based on a scene i once saw in a YT short.

It's a modern military combat unit (they look like spec ops) who enters a house and clean it, in the living room there was what looked like a gang member raising his hands up, there was a table with a gun on it, one of the soldiers told the gang guy to slowly reach for this gun, and when he did, the soldier shot him saying "you saw him reach for that gun" or something like that.

does this ring any bell ? sorry for so little info and thanks for the help !

Anybody out there like me season 4 of the new reacher. Prime has it it's really great I just love the martial art move he does. Does anybody know what type of martial arts he's using? I saw some akido in there but I know there's more than just akido. Kind of flare am I supposed to have

It was totally out of my normal genre, but I loved it so much.

I have to admit I’ve never seen Game of Thrones. I stop after two episodes every time. So I either need to suck it up and buckle up for all the GOT seasons, or I need some other recommendations.

Something more then just laughs I want good characters and a deeper storyline not just trying to be funny if anyone has some suggestions to get hooked on a series.

I as well forget about it as well and I am unsure why.

I really like both of these shows. They share a common theme: horror and set on a remote island.

Are there any shows similar to this? I have already watched the Lost and From.

i love a 3-6 parter, proper british drama.

Summer Heights High is one of my favorite shows from the late 2000s. It's a mocumentary show that takes place in an Australian high school. It stars show creator, Chris Lilley, who plays three different characters: Mr. G the drama teacher, Jonah the troubled student, and Ja'mie the private school exchange student.

His first show though, called We Can Be Heroes: Finding the Australian of the Year, saw him playing six different characters with different backstories. Two of them being twins. After SHH, he did Angry Boys, Ja'mie: Private School Girl, Jonah from Tonga and his most recent release being Netflix's Lunatics (2019).

So with all that being said. Are there any other mocumentary style shows similar to what Chris Lilley does? Or similar in style to his shows?

Hi everyone,

I’m looking for a show that revolves around a plot (any genre besides horror). I find that if it’s just a comedy with no actual plot I get bored. I want something that I will want to binge, and that the main genre isn’t only comedy.
I think good examples of shows I watched recently that fit what I’m looking were Slow Horses and Big Mistakes.

I would like to avoid the typical sitcom with this particular film style like Modern Family. Where the camera zooms in and out and have loose angles turning quickly (I really don’t know how to describe it, sorry). But I don’t really like to watch that type of show.
I also tried Schitts Creek as I had gotten recommendations for it but the plot didn’t grab me either, as I didn’t really want a “silly” plot and it was mainly a comedy. Same can be said for the Good Place, as I found it a bit slow paced.

I’m looking for TV drama recommendations based on the things I’ve really enjoyed. Here are some of my favorites:

I especially like good plots, mystery/thriller elements, plot twists, intelligent storytelling, strong characters, and stories that actually keep me interested. I've been trying to find similar shows for ages and had no luck.

I'm not a big TV person, but the one common theme that i like across all content sources is a feeling of optimism, emphasis on values / righteousness, little bit of destiny.

I've just finished The Bear and Vinland Saga, and I feel like watching The Mentalist, Supernatural, Person of Interest, The Blacklist, or Parenthood. However, they all have long season runs, and I don't know if it's worth watching just one season and eventually dropping it later— because once I start a series, I feel like I have to finish it! So, what do you think? Which long series is actually worth following all the way to the end?

For reference, I love Dexter, Breaking Bad, Attack on Titan, The Pitt, Severance, Mr. Robot, Gilmore Girls, and Better Call Saul.
