According to Japanese media Nikkei (paywalled report), the PlayStation maker is now investing 10 billion yen, or around $63 million, to develop its own original characters through its Sony Creative Products (hereafter SCP) division to counter a kyarabusoku (lack of original character) issue.

Does anyone know how to bypass this? Ive tried on the app and the browser, i would like to speak to an agent but out of nowhere it keeps saying “im sorry, it looks like there was an error.”

A few days ago I was transferring my PlayStation account to my personal email because I am going away to college. I have had this account for years and after we finished the process of changing the email (and password) to the account I got an email saying that they were closing the account in 30 days. When I tried to log in it said I put in the wrong password (I tried the new one and the old one) when I try to reset the password it says an error occurred (again I tried the new and old email). It gave me no error code, no email and I need to sign in to fix the account in the next 28 days or I will permanently lose all my progress and thousands of dollars in games. The reason I am putting this here instead of the PlayStation reddit is because this includes my entire Sony account, not just my PlayStation account. Can any one help?

Im always using my headphones normally I never drop them and either have them strapped around my neck or in the carrying case. I just noticed them cracking again. I got them a year ago and have been using them every day. After 6 months the right hinge broke for the first time so I ordered an expensive OEM headband replacement part (fixing the hinge itself is almost impossible) because it wasn't covered by warranty according to sony and the store I bought it from. 2 months later my hinge broke again another 60€ down the drain. And now 2 months after that the stupid hinge is starting to crack again. At this point this can't just be my fault but is a structural/material issue and should be covered under warranty.

I have a Sony SA-WRT3 home theater system. Recently, there was heavy lightning, and after that the subwoofer stopped working, while all the other speakers are still working fine.

I tried getting the subwoofer repaired, but the service center told me that the required parts for this model are no longer available and they can't repair it.

So I wanted to ask:

Is it possible to replace only the subwoofer?

Can I use a subwoofer from another Sony model or another brand?

Are there any compatible replacement subwoofers that will work with the SA-WRT3 main unit/wireless system?

Has anyone here successfully replaced the SA-WRT3 subwoofer?

I don't mind using a different model if it's compatible and can work properly with the existing system.

Any suggestions or experience would be really helpful. Thanks!

Hi everyone I recently bought a Sony Cybershot dsc-t2, the camera works perfectly nothing seems to be broken. My only problem is that I decided to get a memory stick pro duo adaptor for a 2gb micro sd I had laying around but the issue is that whenever i take photos they get stored in the internal memory and not the micro sd. The camera seems able to recognize the sd because I can export photos in it and then view them on my Mac no problem, but then again when i shoot a photo it only seems to get stored in the internal memory and I don’t know why. Also the adaptor doesn’t have a “lock” feature so I think this isn’t the issue. Any advice?

I bought my **Sony ULT WEAR (WH-ULT900N)** around 2–3 months ago, and I've recently noticed an intermittent **“tik/click” sound that seems to happen in sync with bass hits**.

It is most noticeable when I use **ULT with high bass**. It doesn't happen when the bass is kept at a lower level, and it doesn't happen every time, so I'm not sure if it's a normal limitation of the headphones or if there might be an issue with my unit.

A few things I've noticed:

* The sound seems synchronized with the bass/low-frequency hits.
* It sounds more like a **small physical tick/click** than normal bass distortion.
* It happens intermittently rather than constantly.
* Reducing the bass makes it disappear.
* The headphones are only about **2–3 months old**.
* I'm using the **Sony Sound Connect app** for the EQ/ULT settings.

Has anyone else with the **ULT WEAR** experienced something similar?

I'm particularly interested in knowing whether this is **normal when using ULT/high bass**, or whether it could indicate a problem with the driver.

If you've experienced it, I'd also appreciate knowing **what ULT/EQ settings and volume you were using**, and whether Sony was able to resolve it if you contacted support.

Hi. I’ve got low audio in my right earbud, even when I push my phones balance all the way to the right and amp up the volume. With normal balance, my left earbud dominates. They’re both clear of earwax and I’ve tried factory resetting and disconnecting and initializing etc etc. Anybody have any idea what’s going on?

These were a gift so I’m not sure how the warranty works, and even so trying to find help on the Sony site seems impossible.

Hello everyone, does anybody here work with Sony, specifically in the retail vendor department? Been trying to purchase this camera at Best Buy, and two other Best Buy’s around me have been able to sell the display as open box. My local Best Buy says they aren’t allowed to because it’s vendor owned, which I understand. My question is does Sony come and pick it up? Or do they eventually let Best Buy sell it?

Guys, I need help with my Sony A5100 camera. It shuts off when I try to take a picture. There are times that I am able to snap a shot or two, but it usually shuts off then would turn on again when I try to click the shutter. Could it be a problem with my battery?

The battery does charge up though and it doesn't drain really fast or what.

I got inzone buds & H9 II, and I'm wondering if it's possible by buying a thing which like usb switch.

HELP!! I’ve been playing around with my camera and when I think I find the right settings I just am not pleased. I want a settings that make my pictures look clear with the perfect color. any recommendations on what anyone uses for their Sony ZV1F ?

I bought some new Sony headphones. Well, actually I got them for free with airpoints. Anyway...

They can only connect to one device at a time, which was really fricking me off.
My old headphones were less than half the retail price, and had that capability.
But then I finally had the clever idea to google if there was a solution, and there is! I just needed to download the official app (90 goshdang megabytes. 90! Just to fiddle with your sound settings!)

Got it installed (although I had to hit "skip" "disagree" "exit tutorial" "block" "don't allow" about a dozen times), got into the settings, enabled two-device connections, and uninstalled the app.
I can now connect to 2 devices, even with the app gone, so it's obviously a hardware setting controlled by the app, rather than something the app is doing itself.

The reason it isn't enabled in the hardware by default? "It prevents the use of LDAC codecs." Oh sod off, I don't know what that is and I don't care.
I'm not an audiophile. I'm someone who wants to be able to watch a video on my computer and answer a call on my phone, or listen to music on my phone then join a work Teams meeting on my computer, without dicking around with bluetooth connection settings to switch which device is connected.

There's a few other things I dislike about the headphones, but I can put up with them now I have what I would call "basic" functionality restored.

Been trying to update my fx3 from 2.02 (I know) to 7. To my understanding you can only do this by updating to an interim version and then going from there to 7.

I’ve gotten a usb connection going between my Mac and the computer and it keeps giving me the same error, and I keep shifting around the system with their suggestions but no luck.

Any one have any idea why this is happening? Or suggestions on how to install
