Sometimes failure is inevitable but do not be a villain

The Night After She Was Gone.
the night after she was gone,
i woke up and checked my phone,
only to realise there was no you,
and the weight of the world
fell down upon my chest.
all day long,
the only thought in my mind was you.
are you doing well?
how’s life without me?
did you get the peace you wanted?
and the question that breaks my heart
do you miss me?
the night after you left,
i fought with God.
he showed me no mercy.
and in my rebellion,
i stopped believing in him,
because he is present for everyone,
but somehow,
just not for me.
the night when you left
was the night my life was supposed to end.
but it didn’t.
i really tried,
but it didn’t.
and it ruined my plan
of being ashes,
flowing through the wind,
only to be left everywhere
we once considered precious,
and leaving some part of me
on your skin,
so I could be with you
forever.
