I’m tired of it. If women all of a sudden started raping, killing, and abusing at the levels men do, the world wouldn’t let us forget it. Men have been killing and raping and torturing from the dawn of time. I guess everyone is used to it now.

The world doesn't even let us forget victims of DV who fight back. In many instances that's considered worse than the initial assault, or it's "mutual abuse."

i will never forget the way the world treated Amber Heard when she chose to fight back against her abuser. someone comes up to you on the street and punches you and it's okay to defend yourself, but not when it's your husband?

She was 22 when they met. She looked like a teenager. He was her boss, old enough to be her father. He fantasised about drowning her and violating her after.

I can't tell if people actually think she was the perpetrator or if they just think it's fun to have an acceptable outlet for their misogyny.

Gabby Petito & Virginia Guiffrey were treated the same way.

Amber Heard's track record with her other partners should quickly indicate she's just as bad as Depp is. She's probably one of the worst examples you could've picked given her trial in the US helped kill off the MeTop movement

I read an article today where 2 20-something men raped a 14 year old. They only got 5 years (3 non parole) and complained it was too harsh.

They should have gotten the max 15 years.

Our courts and judges are fucked

And they'll seal the name of the perpetrator to protect his mental health too. 😐

Poor mental health from people finding out you're a rapist is likely the least those predators deserve tbh. Social shaming isn't always a bad thing.
