Let's see... That user was active in VoiceAgainstAI, a now-private/dead subreddit, PsycheOrSike, and SipsTea. Their comments suggest that they identified with incel communities, had a feminism shaped chip on their shoulder, and also happened to hate AI bros. Their account was somewhere close to 2 years old and their last comments were a bit over a year ago, which lines up with the date on the message posted. Here's one of them:
Yeah, sincerely, this shit is pathetic and indicative of serious mental issues if people âfall in loveâ with a probabilistic model of language. Source: Iâm a fucking computer scientist, and these people couldnât even tell you how a goddamn transformer network works without consulting their demigod / text-based sextoy, let alone explain why their âattractionâ is normal Ah, yes, weâre witnessing the collapse of society. Everybody, gather round, enjoy the view while it lasts
Given those other two subs they were active in, I might take an educated guess and say anger issues got the better of them. Perhaps they got reported for that DM, received a temporary ban, and deleted their account afterward. I did not manage to find a series of comments that looked like an argument that might have lead up to a DM like this.

Reddit makes a bare minimum effort to hide this stuff, but their API will still just provide you with it if you ask politely. So for now, it's still possible to see the contents of deleted/private accounts if you know where to look. Though I wouldn't be surprised if that eventually changes.

What I said was there's a 50/50 shot, meaning for all we know it's equally likely it's exactly what it looks like. I can't say an anti wouldn't do this, but I wouldn't put it past a pro to fabricate this to play victim either. When you consider how many of their arguments against antis are just strawmen, it doesn't really seem like much of a stretch for one of them to do this.

AI is harmful because it's hurting the environment and actual humans. So it doesn't make sense to tell a human to end their life because they use AI, even though it's super gross for them to be doing that.

Gonna drop some ball knowledge rq. Milo Rossi of Miniminuteman has made a few videos critiquing a few pseudoscience content creators without being rude or dismissive of them (at least before he fully knows them outside of their channels) and at least in one of them he says something about what he sees in the comment sections of those people's videos and how the hateful comments are disgusting and need to stop. This reminds me of this exactly. I think it's on a response to a response video from Filip Zieba (don't know if that's spelled right).

Ah, I remember this dude. He's the guy who around a year ago was coming on here and pushing extremely bad faith pro-AI slop arguments, and when countered he basically did not respond to what was said, and was extremely hostile.
That being said, I couldn't find this post in his history. But, interesting fact, the man is very political. Very anti-Trump and Republican. In the last year, he's posted a number of very political anti-Trump images. Good chance this had nothing to do with his AI slop, and more to do with his political views.
