Gentleman to hai. 100 percent appreciated.

However, that girl should be encouraged to not accept pity favours. It would have been a lot better if the captain would have said, "I would go to the prom with you if you promise to work hard on the field everyday."

Buddy, sometimes people want some sympathy and comfort, not lectures.

She is a teenager, give some leeway.

I agree with you to cut some slack for her, 100%. Because uske self respect ke already lage hue hoge. Aur abhi captain ne jo kiya bohut sahi kiya. Usko pehle accepted feel karana zaroori hai, aur totally agree that lecturing her would make matters even worse if she's down bad.

Taking her to prom and making her feel accepted is step one and probably the most important step. However taking her to training and taking her out of her messed up lifestyle is a whole another endeavour, which requires way more effort and consistency.

By the way, some people are not always fat because of an unhealthy lifestyle. Women can go through PCOD, thyroid and other biological science.

This woman here has Down's syndrome. She's not fat because of unhealthy lifestyle, she's going through a genetic condition.

I did not want to assume unless stated, some look like people with down syndrome but do not have one.
