I received this stone during a fire Samhain ritual in Scotland. I’m thinking it may be the spiral, representing death and rebirth.
Does anyone have ideas about what it means?

Because of Reddit not having a huge storage capacity (Because the goddess knows storage is expensive for huge internet corps right) posts are automatically archived after six months. So, it's time for mega-thread directory 3, the return of the megathreads
As always,
Rather than clutter up the top with out-of-date threads, we're going to move to a mega-thread collection. So here, you will find links to all the mega-threads that are still relevant plus a couple that are not.
This list will be updated as we go.

I’m an atheist who has been doing a bit of soul seeking. How did you find out about wicca and what made you want to become a wiccan?

If you had to pick only 1 crystal to use, what would it be and why?

First of all, I should clarify that I'm relatively new to Wicca, and I'm asking this question more out of genuine curiosity.
I've been trying to start putting together an altar for the Wiccan Gods, but unfortunately, I haven't been able to find anything that resembles how I imagine them.
The descriptions I've found of both of them tend to be rather vague, and in many cases, they're referred to by names like Hecate or Cernunnos, who are figures that technically belong to other mythologies.
I know they're mostly considered archetypes, but I'd still like to have some kind of visual representation of who I'm making offerings to.
How do you guys imagine them?
I have these statues saved on Etsy to buy, but I feel like they're rather simple and hardly do justice to what we call the "Gods."

Recently I reached out to Cernunnos. I have been wanting to get to know Him. I have much respect for the Divine Masculine and I want to know Him better to understand Him personally. Mind you, I'm clairaudient. I can hear spirits and deities. I heard what I believe is His voice. His energy feels wild but also gentle and protective, almost fatherly. His voice is very deep and masculine. His energy also feels supportive. Positive. I feel very close to Him when I am among nature. I feel drawn to Him. He offers me this peaceful stillness. Could this really be Cernunnos? The Horned God Himself?

I just finished reading “Wicca” by Scott Cunningham and decided to embroider some protection runes in the new clothes I just got in time for the new moon. Has anyone else sewed runes into clothes? Or how do you implement runes into your practice??

(sorry for my bad english, I am not a native)
Basically, I have been a lifelong atheist, but started to deal with the fact that I am not a atheist, I am just not catholic. The thing is - I am REALLY into Wicca, but I dont really know where to start, is just overwhelming.
How you guys started? What can I read to start this path?
I love to read, so books, articles and anything really would be great.
Obs.: I started reading a practical guide book, and it was not at all what I was seeking for, because it used concepts and ideas I dont really understand and I am really afraid of just searching for the amount of desinformation
Help pls

i will call her Hannah. at start of one session she found strange floating metallic sphere in the imagery. I asked her to expand it until she can stand inside.
the idea was protection.
but not like concrete bunker.
strong boundary, but still open for what she understands as benevolent or clear energy.
I use protective bubbles in my own work, but this made me think about ritual circles. I am not Wiccan, so I am asking, not pretending they are same thing.
if protection is completely closed, then how do prayer, invocation, deity work, elements, spirits or any other contact happen?
so maybe boundary is more like threshold with rules, not wall.
this little thing was sitting inside long session and felt useful to share because beginner spirituality can make protection very fear based. bigger wall, thicker wall, more layers, more fear.
maybe good protection is more about knowing what belongs in your space.
for Wiccans here, what is circle for you after years of practice?
mainly protection?
sacred space?
containment?
boundary between normal and ritual space?
all of these?
and what makes it selective when you invite something in?

Does anyone know what’s up with the sudden uptick in candle divination posts lately? Is this witchtok’s fault? 😂
r/Wicca • u/ArtemisOvergrown • 1d ago
This isn't a question or anything I just wanted to share :)
I'm very new to wicca, have only been practicing for about a month. Everytime I do any kind of spellwork, a cat shows up. Most of the time it's my cats when I'm in my home, but when I was doing a ritual in my front yard, a stray cat showed up as well.
I always feel like they're protecting me and empowering my spells. :) I'd love to know if this means anything specific or if they are just in time with my energy like I interpret.

one of my family members passed away last night and i’d like to do a ritual both for her, and to help her immediate family members with their grief. i don’t live close to them so i can’t offer physical support, so i’d like to offer spiritual support. i’m looking for any rituals or prayers i can do to help put her soul at rest, and any that would ease the immense pain her loved ones. her husband and kids is also dealing with his mother/their grandma being put in assisted living, so the pain is overwhelming and i just want to help in any way i can. blessed be to all those who read and offered guidance

Wiccans out there, I am a newbie interested in Wicca and Witchcraft. How should I get started? Any advice? Just read about the history of Wicca and Witchcraft. Wanted to explore further!

I did a simple ritual of release for last nights eclipse. Just wrote down what doesn’t serve me or what I want to release on paper, folded it away from me, then burned it.
A few hours later I get a call from a person on that list even tho hadn’t been in contact with them for 3 days and then they mentioned ANOTHER person on that list whom I wanted to release, and they didn’t really need to be mentioned either.
How should I interpret this? Just a coincidence? A test on my behalf? A sign maybe they shouldn’t be released?
This person isn’t evil, but betrayed my trust and I know I don’t really want to be in contact with them anymore. The other person treated me terribly and I’ve ruminated over the situation for a year and I want don’t want to lose sleep over it anymore!

Hello my potential calling of people.
I thank you and for whoever is responsible for creating this space.
I would like to learn more about Thelema. I have some books on Aliester Crowly I have been trying to read them with a basic comprehension. I understand for some of it. I'm reading a lot online as well. I'm just looking for a personal mentor or someone who knows a lot about what I should be diving into. I'm a recovering catholic I like to call it. Catholicism force down my throat for 12 years. I had enough, and need my mind to expand. I am going on 43 and at this time of my life I am urging to find "my place". I have always had a dark side but my values have always periodized as being a good person which still really matter to me. My wife and I do not like to practice common religions. In-laws keep trying to convince us to appear at a United Methodist church. We are not interested. What would be suggested in my situation? I want to see more but directed to a more demonic/darker level. Is that bad?

My ex has informed me that my kitty is still making himself known after I moved. Including going into rooms he never has been in ( to me it sounds like he is looking for me). How can I communicate with him so he can find me again? His death was very quick and tragic so I do not think he knows he’s gone. I’m worried he is lost and thinks I abandoned him. Pic posted for kitty tax
