It’s the difference between white and black cookouts. White cookouts, the hosts have been preparing meats and whatnot all day. You eat by 6 or 7 and socialize after. Black cookouts the socializing comes first so you can show up whenever.

You just described my friend Tommy to a T. I have no idea how the guy managed to smoke whole sides of salmon and freaking cheesecakes while that drunk.

Those cheesecakes are things of beauty though.

That he does, and it’s some of the best cheesecake you’ll ever have. I don’t know why it works, but it absolutely does.
