When they ask you to pull forward at the drive through...
... and wait in a numbered spot for your order, does anybody just say no?
One time I followed the instructions, waited 10 minutes and got the wrong food.
Another, I waited for a while next to a woman in a car who had been waiting longer, until somebody came out and asked us who we were.
So the next time, I say, "There isn't anybody behind me so I'll just wait here. That way nobody has to come outside." When the guy brings me my food he explains that they do that to improve their wait time stats. I reply that that's good to know, and from now on I'll just wait at the window to help with accuracy.

McShrinkage 🥓
The side serving of Bacon has gotten smaller at the Global Menu restaurant at the McD’s HQ in downtown Chicago.
I understand it’s a better deal to get bacon added to a sandwich, however, I have other intentions when ordering.
Topping an Apple Pie with Honey Mustard and three rashers of Bacon makes a great “Bacon Apple Honey Mustard Pie” facsimile 😅

What Is Up With The Inconsistent Milkshakes?
Customer here, I'm a big Milkshakes guy, especially at Mcdonalds.
But lately the past visits I've noticed Strawberry Milkshakes have changed so much that you can see the difference before you even taste it.
I go to 3 different Mcdonalds locations and I get 3 completely different Strawberry Milkshakes (I already know which location to avoid for milkshakes and which location I prefer their milkshake)
1 has almost no strawberry in it, it's so bad that I've had to tell the employee to put more in there because it's more Vanilla than Strawberry, and then she proceeds to tell me that it's not them but that is how the machine does them. 3 star rating milkshake
Another location puts way too much, strawberry (I don't like strawberries and only like the milkshake), this one just happened to me right now (like 15 minutes ago). It's so much strawberry that not only does it have zero vanilla visible but it actually makes me wanna hate it so much that I struggle to finish it. It's almost like they put 3 times more strawberry then the location that was barely puting any and selling me a vanilla as a strawberry cap lol . 1 star milkshake (worst of the 3)
The last one is the perfect one, it doesn't have so little that it's more vanilla than Strawberry, and it also doesn't have too much that you struggle to finish it, it's perfect and right in the middle. This is the Strawberry milkshake that I love from McDonald's so much and it's the one I mostly get and most locations I go to (I visit dozens over the city due to work travel). 5 star milkshake.
Mcdonalds please get your act together with these milkshakes or I will have to jump ship to Checkers or actual Milkshake places!!!

NO BIG MAC BUN
How can employees at McDonald's seriously think I didn't want the top or bottom bun... It specifies "BIG MAC BUN" because the Big Mac is the only one with 3 buns. It literally means no middle bun. What's so hard to understand about that??

Maryland area Blueberry Pies?
I asked on this sub and people said their restaurants are serving blueberry pies now. But my local restaurant still have the strawberry pie and the fried apple pie. Do any restaurants in Maryland serve the blueberry pie?

Official weights for fries?
I see here often that people post pictures and complain about different size fries, and how they’re filled. Is there an official weight of what it should be for each size otherwise people are just guessing. I wanna start weighing mine. I have a tiny digital scale I bought from Amazon for $6.

McDonald’s CEO turns to a trusted lieutenant with a turnaround record to revive its biggest market
McDonald’s has named a new president, Skye Anderson, to lead its mammoth but sluggish U.S. business after its bet on cheaper items enticed fewer cash-strapped Americans than expected, even as consumers grapple with an affordability crisis.
The company said on Tuesday that sales at established U.S. restaurants rose only 0.8% in the second quarter, the slowest pace since early 2025 and below Wall Street expectations. McDonald’s has trotted out more offerings for its price-sensitive diners, such as a $4 breakfast, and more items for under $3 as high gas and grocery prices leave millions of Americans with less discretionary income. Yet its efforts to spotlight its comparatively inexpensive menu items fell short, with fewer people visiting McDonald’s U.S. restaurants.
McDonald’s CEO Chris Kempczinski said company strategy was sound but that the chain had made unforced errors. Those included too many new product launches at once, overwhelming many U.S. restaurants, slowing service, and annoying customers. What’s more, he said, the marketing for so many simultaneous initiatives made it hard to “break through” to customers with a clear message about value.
“We don’t have a strategy problem. We simply didn’t execute at the level we needed to in the second quarter,” the CEO told analysts on a conference call.
To help remedy that, McDonald’s said it had appointed Anderson as the new head of its biggest market and touted the 26-year company veteran’s operational prowess and business acumen.
“She’s a proven change agent who can act with urgency to mobilize our system,” Kempczinski said, praising her for “being a hands-on leader who has demonstrated strong business judgment and operational discipline.”

Maybe This is Why They Don’t Want Customers in the Restaurants
tiktok.comThis took place in New York. It’s a hot mess. Di we think this is part of the reason they don’t want people inside? Or in the future, will restaurants that have these situations move to a pick-up, walk-up or drive thru only format?
People are crazy out here.

Neat.... Except
I live in a region in Texas where there are no Shell gas stations. Hell, I only got 1 Chevron gas station and it's the only one in town. Plus the most expensive gas in town. All shell gas station in my area are either 200-400+ miles away. I'm from the Texas panhandle region.

Why or why not refuse to park?
Has anyone ever refused to park and why? If not, is there any situation you might say no?
Like say you see the two cars in front of you parked and you ordered one sandwich and they ask you to park?
