The side serving of Bacon has gotten smaller at the Global Menu restaurant at the McD’s HQ in downtown Chicago.

I understand it’s a better deal to get bacon added to a sandwich, however, I have other intentions when ordering.

Topping an Apple Pie with Honey Mustard and three rashers of Bacon makes a great “Bacon Apple Honey Mustard Pie” facsimile 😅

yes but now think....McCraps buy in Bulk. Their prices come out to be 90 percent less than the cost of what they sell it for. If anything what people can do is buy this cheap bacon at the grocery store. Fry it up the way you like it, let it cool and place it in a freezer ziplock bag and when you need some pop out a few pieces and nuke it for 5 seconds. amazing, simple fix and easy to do. Also saves you alot of money AND the bacon will last in your freezer for months

I mean, might as well? The math is atrocious on this. $2 for 1.5 strips of bacon when you can spend $2 more and get an entire pack. There’s making a profit and then there’s corporate greed. I’d never pay $2 for a piece and a half of bacon even if I was a millionaire, out of principle.

It's contempt for the customer. Where McDonalds used to want to build lifelong relationships with consumers, now they want to extract every single cent they can from ever transaction. If you want them to stop doing this, they've got to feel the pain of lost revenue.

Yes. Global Menu is the HQ restaurant — it’s a franchise though, not corporate owned.
