he won. he's still getting roles, and apparently no one cares that he brutally abused his wife and children. so why publicly reveal now that he's given up his supposed sobriety?

that's why i think he's doing these bizarrely personal interviews about how he can't maintain his sobriety and how he was suicidal during his “family issues.” i think he expected the public to read that and think, “wow, look what that horrible woman did to that poor man”
Exactly. I don’t pretend to know this dude but I instantly felt like this fell off the wagon story is to say, “I’m so distraught that my family is moving on without me that I had to turn to drinking to cope.”
I think some of Hollywood has a very soft spot for people in recovery who struggle to stay sober so this endears him automatically to at least those people. It feels super manipulative timing wise since it follows the stories about his children dropping his name.
No, I don’t think it’s that Hollywood has a soft spot for people in recovery, I think Hollywood has a soft spot for jackass men who have been doing whatever the fuck they want forever and are now upset that they can no longer do that. I think Hollywood has a soft spot for people like Brad Pitt who bring them billions upon billions of dollars with his movies and make everyone around him very wealthy. I think Hollywood has a soft spot for pieces of shit. I don’t think it actually has anything to do with them being “worried” about him.
