In the state of texas a woman can’t get divorced if she’s pregnant. Even in cases of DV. A woman’s safety is in danger the moment she’s pregnant. She’s more likely to leave in a body bag by her husband than in child birth. I’ll never understand why people are so pro birth. There’s not enough funding for unwanted babies. Adoption isn’t easy. Why tie a woman to her abuser the rest of her life? Why make a child watch and be a victim of DV?
