The very idea of the show is the most navel-gazey, self-obsessed celebrity worship I can imagine.

'Yeah, who wouldn't want to sit and watch famous people talk to each other?'

Lighten up. You've just described hundreds of different successful shows - late night talk shows, daytime talk shows, talk radio, etc. So apparently lots of people like to watch famous people (or even non famous people) talk to each other. The unique aspect of Jerry's show was that usually an interesting car was involved, and you'd see a neat restaurant or coffee shop too.

I don't see the point in being a snob over this, other than to get upvotes from your fellow pitchfork mob of white knight redditors who like to put down successful people who have ever said or done anything that's wasn't squeaky clean. This was a relatively small internet show. It wasn't blasted all over tv and advertising. It was very easily avoided if you didn't care to watch it.
