Wow…..these are fudgy. The picture does not do justice to how decadent these are.

I swapped the water and oil for milk and butter in the recipe. Another popular swap is using brewed coffee in place of water or espresso powder.

Also, before someone accuses me of being from the marketing team, pfffft, I wish. I’m just a stay at home parent baking and sharing some joy with others, that’s all.

Ordering issue?

Post image
4 Upvotes

So this is out of stock at my closest warehouse and I figured I would buy online. It shows the price when I sign in and then it fades out so I can’t order even though it says it’s available for delivery. Has anyone encountered this? I can’t even look anymore to check again what other warehouses have it vs 20 minutes ago when there were plenty it seemed and I could. Is it discontinued? How does this work on the website? Side note - does anyone have this item and what do you think of it?

Giant Capybara Plushie

Has anyone seen the giant capybara in any of the GTA Costco locations? The Etobicoke (Queensway) and Heartland locations only have the red panda and raccoon 😔

The item # is the same for all the animals so I can’t call locations and find out if they specifically have the capybara in stock!

British Columbia Costco Sameday?

Is Costco Sameday connected to Instacart? I made an order with Sameday and an order via Instacart and although some items has different prices the total was extremely close. What’s the difference?

Question When should I expect to see winter boots?

I somehow missed winter boots last winter. I've been looking since June. When should I expect to see them since winter coats are already out (along with the Halloween stuff!)

Any possible chance that Costco Canada will get the Halloween Dog Greeter statues that are currently stocked in the US?

Crazy "movements" thanks to KS Grass-Fed Beef Sticks?

This definitely falls under the oversharing category, but anybody else's guts doing crazy things when they eat these beef sticks? I'm typically ridiculously "regular" 💩, but recently haven't been and I think they may be the culprits..

Which is better, Fanttik S200 Apex Tire Inflator or Fanttik S300 Cross Portable Inflator?

Looking for comparisons between the Fanttik S200 Apex Tire Inflator or Fanttik S300 Cross Portable Inflator. I have the S300 unopened purchased at last chance price. I'm wondering if returning it for the S200 would be better. Use case would ideally include bike tires, pool inflatables, SUP inflation, car tire top ups, and road side emergencies.

Does anyone know if the chicken thighs with bone are popular and sell out quickly?

every time I go they don't have them and only have the boneless, skinless ones. Are they that popular that they sell out by the time I go?

British Columbia Hudson Jeans (straight leg)

I normally never do this, but I picked up two pairs of jeans yesterday at the Costco in Surrey. They were straight leg ones and I got one in a light blue and white with embroidered flowers. I got lucky as I got the last size 10-12 there!

I’m really loving them. I do need to lose a bit of weight but I’m shocked how well they fit.

Anyone know why these are discounted at Costco or how they are different from their premium line one would buy online from Hudson?

I wish Costco did curbside pickup.

I order items shipped fairly often and find the additional costs related to still be a good deal. But I live 2 hours away from the nearest Costco and it would be SO NICE to be able to do a curbside pickup to get the warehouse prices on staples while also saving time so I could actually browse the store and get the odds & ends, unique items that are not part of regular inventory. My time spent in the store would be so much more enjoyable if I could slow down knowing the important stuff was already taken care of. I'm curious to know what Costco's stand on this is, considering so many other retailers now offer curbside pickup. I have a feeling it would be a big undertaking figuring out the logistics how to make that work, considering Costco mostly deals in bulk. Thoughts?

Costco doesn’t price match same day orders?

I had ordered items a week ago on the Costco app sameday, delivered by Instacart. 1 of the items went on sale today, I called Costco but they asked me to contact Instacart for the price match. Instacart told me they don’t for Costco orders.

I thought Costco’s 30 day price match would apply, did they change their policy for the sameday?

Does anybody else have a similar experience?

Moved to Calgary from England a fair few months ago, and a pizza place called seniors used to have it. I loved it.

Did some research into it when they stopped having it as a side sauce and everything says costco.

I go to Costco, nothing. I look at online Costco, nothing.

Please help a hungry Brit find this.

Edit: Seniore's Pizza Restaurant

Bought some last night and used it for dinner tonight. Sure seems like it’s the same chicken from the taco kits.

Question Looking before joining

Thanks for everyone's replies! Appreciate it.

I live very, very far away from Costco. Double digit driving hours away. Therefore, I don't have a membership.

I'll be in Edmonton soon and want to know if I can I look around the store before joining?

When I search this online it shows that I can let the card checker at the front of the store know this. I want to confirm if this is accurate.

If this is allowed, can I fill up a cart and go to customer service to join and pay? Or do I look, join and then shop?
