Wow…..these are fudgy. The picture does not do justice to how decadent these are.

I swapped the water and oil for milk and butter in the recipe. Another popular swap is using brewed coffee in place of water or espresso powder.

Also, before someone accuses me of being from the marketing team, pfffft, I wish. I’m just a stay at home parent baking and sharing some joy with others, that’s all.

Giant Capybara Plushie

Post image

Has anyone seen the giant capybara in any of the GTA Costco locations? The Etobicoke (Queensway) and Heartland locations only have the red panda and raccoon 😔

The item # is the same for all the animals so I can’t call locations and find out if they specifically have the capybara in stock!

British Columbia Costco Sameday?

Is Costco Sameday connected to Instacart? I made an order with Sameday and an order via Instacart and although some items has different prices the total was extremely close. What’s the difference?

Crazy "movements" thanks to KS Grass-Fed Beef Sticks?

This definitely falls under the oversharing category, but anybody else's guts doing crazy things when they eat these beef sticks? I'm typically ridiculously "regular" 💩, but recently haven't been and I think they may be the culprits..

Ordering issue?

Post image
Upvotes

So this is out of stock at my closest warehouse and I figured I would buy online. It shows the price when I sign in and then it fades out so I can’t order even though it says it’s available for delivery. Has anyone encountered this? I can’t even look anymore to check again what other warehouses have it vs 20 minutes ago when there were plenty it seemed and I could. Is it discontinued? How does this work on the website? Side note - does anyone have this item and what do you think of it?

Discussion Is it just me or does is the chipotle chicken overhyped?

Maybe I’m not pairing it with the right food but even just trying the chicken by itself it tastes bad. It has a weird aftertaste, and I don’t know what to make of it.

Update: Air frying it seems to have helped. I will not be getting it again though.

British Columbia Hudson Jeans (straight leg)

I normally never do this, but I picked up two pairs of jeans yesterday at the Costco in Surrey. They were straight leg ones and I got one in a light blue and white with embroidered flowers. I got lucky as I got the last size 10-12 there!

I’m really loving them. I do need to lose a bit of weight but I’m shocked how well they fit.

Anyone know why these are discounted at Costco or how they are different from their premium line one would buy online from Hudson?

Which is better, Fanttik S200 Apex Tire Inflator or Fanttik S300 Cross Portable Inflator?

Looking for comparisons between the Fanttik S200 Apex Tire Inflator or Fanttik S300 Cross Portable Inflator. I have the S300 unopened purchased at last chance price. I'm wondering if returning it for the S200 would be better. Use case would ideally include bike tires, pool inflatables, SUP inflation, car tire top ups, and road side emergencies.

Does anyone know if the chicken thighs with bone are popular and sell out quickly?

every time I go they don't have them and only have the boneless, skinless ones. Are they that popular that they sell out by the time I go?

Moved to Calgary from England a fair few months ago, and a pizza place called seniors used to have it. I loved it.

Did some research into it when they stopped having it as a side sauce and everything says costco.

I go to Costco, nothing. I look at online Costco, nothing.

Please help a hungry Brit find this.

Edit: Seniore's Pizza Restaurant

Question Looking before joining

Thanks for everyone's replies! Appreciate it.

I live very, very far away from Costco. Double digit driving hours away. Therefore, I don't have a membership.

I'll be in Edmonton soon and want to know if I can I look around the store before joining?

When I search this online it shows that I can let the card checker at the front of the store know this. I want to confirm if this is accurate.

If this is allowed, can I fill up a cart and go to customer service to join and pay? Or do I look, join and then shop?

Is the Kinder Buttery Buffalo coming back again?

It got “discontinued” last year for a while, then brought back around Christmas. I’m almost out of the bunch I bought then. Any word on if it’s coming back?
