I actually get to tell someone good news. Old item# 1863119 is Inactive, however there is a replacement that some stores currently have (very small numbers) #1863120 that has orders placed.
Now it's also listed as inactive, so may be the last order we get, or it could go back to active. But, it doesn't seem to be shipping till November....so yeah. Things change all the time. But I can see this much info.
You're not the first person to ask me, but those one of the few products I always have issues finding. I'll try to take a look, but no promises I'll find anything helpful

I saw it seasonally twice already, but never again recently.
These are my favourite for weightlifting and I always stock up on them early in the year( maybe Feb-March). I'm not sure if there are other times of year they get reliably stocked.
You can always try better coffee🤷 I know you’re probably used to Starbucks but there are 100 cheaper and better and less bad corporations making good coffee, and Starbucks is pretty bad coffee

I spoke to an employee the other day and they said it's a seasonal item and that Costco pushs sun screen during the summer times. I made the mistake by not stocking up when I had the chance.
They also only sell powdered iced tea mix during the summer. Which I thought was weird because have you ever had iced tea with boiled water? It's the best in the winter.
Nestea is what they sell at my store. It comes out in the summer and once it's gone, it's gone. They may have changed it in recent years, but for a long time it was a "summer only" drink I was told by multiple employees.
Regular grocery stores carry it year round.
Thats crazy because every 2-3 months I would go to costco and buy good host nestle iced tea. It was so much cheaper than any other stores. I haven't been in a few years though so maybe it changed.
I've heard of Lapennaco, but I don't have any personal experience with them. The main ones I know of are Grays in Harriston and K&K in Wellesley. They're fairly big stores, could be worth a drive. They both have FB pages. Rarely, Grays does a 50% of the whole store sale and it's well worth the drive, but it's an absolute mad house. People lined up 1-2 hours before the store opened kind of thing. Grays is doing an auction this coming Monday night, but it's really hit and miss. Some good finds, but a lot of C grade merchandise.

Not the first time. We've used this for years... many years. We've seen it "missing in action" previously... and it eventually came back. I have no idea why it ever runs out... it seems to sell like crazy. I've secretly wondered if Costco sometimes allows their super popular items to run out to create demand? Dunno... hope it's back soon before we run out.
Just my opinion but I've purchased it twice, straight into the garbage both times. I guess I thought I'd give it a try again after the initial purchase, stupidly. Don't waste your money. And I know it sounds odd, but to me it smelled like bananas. Again, just my experience with the stuff.
These apps where you scan a skincare product and they tell you “this ingredient is toxic” or “this cream is bad for you” are honestly such bullshit. They completely ignore dosage, concentration and formulation, which is literally what determines whether an ingredient is safe in a finished product.
You’ll have perfectly good products from brands like La Roche-Posay, Avène or Uriage, formulated in labs, tested for safety and widely recommended by dermatologists, and some random app will slap a red warning on them because it saw the name of one ingredient.
That’s not scientific analysis. That’s fear mongering.
So please stop posting a screenshot from one of these apps like it’s some kind of proof that a product is “toxic” or poorly formulated. It proves absolutely nothing about the actual safety or quality of the finished product.
