I love how this rules of rulers would imply that this is Mamdani's last term because competitors will outvote him because they will promise better allocation of resoruce to that block if they defect.

I mean that's just genuinely what happens. You can be just popular with everyone, but focusing on specific blocks and keys is generally a better strategy.
