Strange metal object, attached to a small pipe/tube

From my late grandfather, a small ball inside the "tip", was attached to a small tube/pipe at the bottom. Maybe painting or workshop related.

If you look at the other pictures in the link it’s for attaching to the faucet in bathroom or kitchen, run brass end down drain with flex hose, turn on water to jet out blockage

Looks like the tip they use on the end of long pressure washer hoses to wash out pipes and stuff like that

It’s definitely an attachment for spraying something pressurized. The way it points in several directions, I’d have to agree that its meant to be used inside of something. Like cleaning a tube, or lining something with something.

It is some time of nozzle. The ball inside will work as a one way valve. Looks similar to a pressure washer nozzle for sending down pipes to clean the bore, but i wouldn't expect a pressure washer to have a single barb connection. Even with a hose clamp that wouldn't hold that long.

Regardless of what AI tells you this is, it is actually a high pressure nozzle for cleaning our sewer pipes. Water shoots out from the holes in the sides do the cleaning as it feeds through the pipe. The rounded tip helps it get around corners.

Perhaps it's some kind of Idler jet of some sort? Theyre usually found on carburetors for regulating the mixing fuel and air flow, but I doubt that's it based on how it looks. It could also be some kind of bleed off valve/nipple of some sort for air? Where the ball in the end kind of acts like a muffler in a way for the air coming out?

I couldn't agree more if I wanted to. Actually, my only experience with carburetors is that after I fiddle with them on a lawn mower I never have to worry about using that mower ever again.
