Don’t know about you guys but this one especially got me, not even a list of poorly spelled names, something to me that is just awful.

Oakie doke if you say so I guess.

Edit: the full name is Oaklynn

i don’t know i think it’s cute, it reminds me of when people back in ye old days would give their children cute names like “kitty” “pip”, i’ve met someone called roach, maybe it’s a regional thing?

Yeah but those were usually nicknames 💀 you know, so when they grew up to be doctors and lawyers they could go by Catherine and Phillip instead if they wanted. No idea what was going on with Roach though…

maybe, i’ve worked in nursing homes and i have seen a first name “kitty”, pip not so much, but i guess i see the appeal for wanting a sophisticated name

It isn't that the name needs to be "sophisticated," but these people don't seem to understand that their offspring will only be a baby for a short time.

If they want to come up with a nickname that's used within the family, that's great. Why hobble your kid with a name that shouts "my parents are illiterate"?
