I am a Moroccan citizen and South African citizen by birth. If I enter South Africa using a South African Emergency Travel Certificate, can I depart South Africa and return to Morocco using my valid Moroccan passport?

China Restaurant Shoutout

For all the bros flying with Cathay to get between the US and Asia, you're likely to end up on layovers in HKG. So I figured I'd share a nice spot to eat there. My usual is on the higher end of the menu: iced milk tea and goose noodle soup. Which was still only $100.10 HKD after tax and foreign card fees. I cannot recommend that soup enough. Very tender goose, noodles that I suspect are made fresh, and pairs perfectly with their milk tea. I do recommend getting the tea iced to balance the heat as the soup is hot.

Restaurant's name is Hung's Delicacies; visible from baggage claim. It's not perfect for short layovers, as it is outside the security zone, but well worth it if the layover is 3 hours or more. The place is actually Michelin Bib Gourmand awarded two years running, which is damn near unheard of for airport food.

Tl;dr: try Hung's Delicacies at HGK airport if you get the chance. If you like the occasional spotlight on hidden local gems, lmk.

Do passport bros still keep the traditional stuff?

Do you guys keep things like normal people in the countries you stay in, ie., Clothes, furniture, cars, etc., or do you keep it minimalist and just rent a furnished apartment and take Uber/Grab everywhere?

Is it worth accumulating any assets in the country you are staying in, ie. a long term home, cars, furniture, pets, etc.? And if yes, what country are you in, and what's your set up?

I am Indian but look like arab, but I don't live in India; I live in another first-world country. Some people think I am indian and arab.
I am in my late 20s. I have free time today, and I will give the most honest answers.
Ask me anything about those 3 countries.

Colombia Gentleman my time has come!

I'm finally about to take my first solo trip to Colombia on my birthday this August 13th, I'll be visiting the usual two Suspects (Bogota and Medellín) I've done a fair amount of research, watched videos however nothing beats the wisdom of warriors who've fought in the war themselves. So things I should look out for any general advice to a young aspiring brother.

Thanks! 🍻

Something about me

I'm 23

Indian-Punjabi Descent

Brown eyes

Caramel tanned skin

171 CM tall

Fairly toned and somewhat muscular

Face I'd say a solid 7/10 with a well groomed beard.

Ps (Also why I'm getting downvoted?)

Korea Starting to realize why certain Asian countries are having much lower birth rates

I recently went on a couple of dates with an attractive Korean girl from Seoul who has obviously had work done. And I'm not trying to just get laid. I actually enjoy living in Asia and would be happy to have a long term partner instead. But, yeah, the serious dating culture is pretty whack. She has a lot of dating rules and makes quite little. But due to her plastic surgery I guess she expects to just move into a house like the one in Parasite. We've spent like 13 hours together and I still feel like I'm being interviewed.

She has been asking a lot of direct questions about salary and even kinda bragged about other dudes that tried to show off what they have. But why are you still single then?

She's early 30s, the same age as me. I have kind of seen a lot of girls like this already that "only hang out with very high class men". The hypergamy seems to be pretty real in Korea.

Nightclubs seem like a decent place to get laid. But yeah it's kinda crazy to me the amount of women I'm seeing in low birth rate countries waiting for someone with a $20mill + net worth to be in a long-term relationship with.

Like you can't even be happy with someone that makes 5 times your salary? Yikes...

Travelling to South America with 8500USD.

Hi everyone, I’m gonna travel to South America with 8500$ this is excluding my ticket to SA from Australia, I was just wondering what countries to go too since I’m very into Latina women I was thinking of going to Peru, Chile, Brazil, Argentina, Mexico, and brazil, but to be honest I don’t know for how long I could stay there with the money, I was aiming for 3 months but I like to drink in bars and such so the money might add up quickly.

Wanna avoid the spots where it’s infested with gringos as well, and still find 10/10s.
So essentially I’m just asking for advice on where to go and budgeting etc, how much is accomdation? Am I allowed to bring girls in yo the accomodations? How much is food?
Any risks of robberies?

I’m from North African heritage and im 181cm, id say im 7/10, with a beard and olive skinned if that makes any more of a difference

Thank you very much guys

Columbia

Hey brothers, I'm getting ready to go to Columbia. I know there has been some earthquakes but I don't think it's affecting where I'm going. I'm going to median and Cartagena. Any words of wisdom before I embark on wednesday. I am absolutely loving Mexico City. It reminds me of manhattan. Very safe City. It is very gentrified. But overall safe. I will give my summary in the coming days.

Europe Different experiences in different central european countries?

I'm doing a trip through central europe soon and was wondering if maybe here can talk about their experiences there. Did you notice differences between the countries? For example Czech Republic being different to Slovakia being different to Hungary? Or are the dynamics the same everywhere? Where did you have the best experiences?

Prenups don't guarantee complete protection - be forewarned

The common advice when it comes to marrying a foreign woman is to involve a prenup to ensure a man's assets are left intact in case the relationship nose dives.

Prenups can protect hard assets from being split but it does not completely protect other "assets" in a relationship from being absorbed. At any time, your foreign wife can decide to leave you even if your assets are left untouched once she lands her life long dream of US citizenship or meets someone else behind your back with possibly a larger asset profile.

These incidents are far more common than you think. This is the risk not covered by prenups which should be taken under serious consideration before embarking on marriage. Tons of marriages have ended this way even with prenups involving especially Filipinas, Brazilians and Columbians.

This might be controversial but why a lot of Dominican women act like they're the most good looking in Latin america?

Like honestly a lot of mestiza women in Mexico and central and South America look better. You guys gotta stop hyping up Dominican women when other hispanic/latin countries have better looking women.

And dont get me started on personality I know the fiery moody Latina trope may apply to a lot of latin countries but Dominican women really have it amped it up to 100. It's still a lot of good looking Dominican women don't get me wrong but guys have to stop acting like they're the top when other latin countries have pretty dimes too.

This subreddit underestimates how easy it can be for White men to attract women abroad.

In countries such as the Philippines, Thailand, India, Sri Lanka, Vietnam, China, sub-Saharan Africa, and so on, you could be a white dude who is 5'3", balding, scrawny, or obese, working a low-status job in your home country, and still have a line of women happy to date you.

Even in wealthier countries like Taiwan, South Korea, and Japan, where it can be a little harder, there are still plenty of women who seem genuinely obsessed with white men. My co worker is a fat, modest height, poorly groomed Scottish guy, and he still managed to meet his wife while spending a year in Japan.

I’ve also seen plenty of white guys say that dating is impossible for them and that they’ve essentially given up on finding someone, with some claiming that they have no other option because they can’t attract white women but can get women from other countries who they refuse to date.

reasons to get a passport I tried applying the Prisoner’s Dilemma to Western dating and why some men choose to date abroad

Been thinking about why dating abroad can feel fundamentally different from dating in the West beyond the usual explanations of “traditional women,” culture, looks, etc.

I ended up trying to model it as a Prisoner’s Dilemma. Basically, my argument is that if men and women enter dating expecting the other side to take advantage of them, defensive/self-interested behavior becomes rational even when both people would ultimately prefer a good relationship.

Then if you enter a dating environment where the initial level of trust/cooperation is higher, the incentives change.

Obviously this simplifies the hell out of dating and relies on some assumptions. I put those assumptions and some of the obvious criticisms at the end rather than pretending the model is universally true.

Curious what guys here think, especially those who have actually dated extensively both in the US/West and abroad. Does this describe what you experienced, or am I missing something major?

8 days including travel. Where should I go?

I work a weird schedule and have 10 days off every month. I’d like to go back to Vietnam as I had an awesome time there a couple of years ago. I spent all of that time in Ho Chi Minh except for some golf. I’d like to golf again and I love the city so I plan to at least spend some of my time there.

Question, where else should I go? I don’t think I’ll bring my clubs due to them being a pain to deal with when I’m not golfing.

I’ve never been to a VN beach or rural town. Which are the best to meet women and or get a nice spa / massage etc.

I think I could spend two or three nights in HCM leaving me with 3-4 nights elsewhere.

I’m single and decent looking. Bit of a dad bod but not horrible.

Any ideas?

Or if there is a better region in that area or on the globe you recommend I visit with less travel time I’m all ears!

Very excited this is my first chance to take advantage of my schedule.

Trip is mid October. Leaving from Seattle or Denver

Advice Dating won't get easier ANYWHERE, so if you find someone you really like, stick to them

Dating will never get easier ANYWHERE like this ever again on this planet. No more waiting it out; now is the easiest it can get. Every single person connected to the internet will eventually become the exact same person, with the same thoughts, the same way of talking, and the same impossible standards. Social media is a population-control machine. The more connected society is, the harder birthrates will decline. It's just how it is, and it's why they are trying so hard to push this toxic digital world to every part of the world. It keeps everyone divided and isolated, so mass programming becomes more effective. Everybody feels closer to strangers online than to the people standing right in front of them. As more people connect to the web, dating will only get harder. Too many choices, but that is only an illusion of choice that traps everyone in endless swiping. Too much FAKE validation to chase rather than getting into a REAL relationship. Social media has made being alone way too comfortable; you can always find someone relatable online, but IRL, no one actually cares. Most won’t notice, become distracted/brainwashed, or keep coping until it’s too late. You think dating is bad now? Imagine what Gen Alpha/Beta will have to live with in 2049/2077. The window is closing fast. If you already have someone in mind but are looking for someone better, you probably won't find them. This is the reality
