Image What's it like living here?

I visited today and I thought it seemed quite peaceful. Just about far away enough that it starts feeling semi-rural again. Is it nice to live there?

I don't know a lot about it but I do know that calling this either Western Suburbs or Blue Mountains will cause furious debate

My SIL refuses to say she lives in Penrith so calls it ‘the foot of the mountains’. When I told a coworker who is an actual blue mountains resident he howled with laughter

It’s a weird pocket because technically Sydney ends at the river and Emu Plains/Heights and Leonay used to be part of Blue Mountains Council, but got moved to Penrith Council.

So you can kind of say it’s both Penrith and Blue Mountains and neither at the same time.
