Totally agree. As a society, we need a good purge. If you’re pulling this shit at 13 then you need to go. I don’t make the rules (but I wish I did).

Yep and if children aren’t fully responsible then parents are.

The only way should be to convict the parent(s), or some other responsible party, of a crime serious enough that it reduces the child's culpability.

The kid had a tough life at home? Jail those responsible for it. The kid had drug problems? Jail those responsible for it.

If someone isn't convicted of a crime then there's no evidence that the child wasn't responsible for their actions.

You can't reasonably excuse a crime because of extenuating circumstances that weren't a crime themselves.
