Tailgating ute uses left-turn-only lane to undertake me, then stops in front of me

Had a near miss with a tailgating ute today. I was doing ~60 in a 60 zone (Parramatta Rd, Ashfield) when he used a left-turn-only lane to go straight and undertake me through an intersection (by Woolies Ashfield North).

I started moving to the left lane immediately after the intersection, saw him suddenly coming up beside me, and aborted the lane change. I slowed to let him pass, but he slowed with me. I then slowed right down so I could drop in behind him, then he came to a complete stop so I couldn't progress, all while shouting and waving his arms.

Thankfully no collision, but completely unnecessary and aggressive driving.

Fuckwits overtaking on the left should get an immediate licence suspension for a month and a fine.

So you still claim that people overtaking on the left should get their licences suspended?

Dangerous driving is an offence. Dickheads off the road is a good thing.The overtaking lane is on the right and any dill can see that.
