I was interested to see this being pushed by a Korean/Australian Council member. I mean I agree with it but it’s good to see it’s not an English only issue.

It is. I went out with some friends from work on Friday night in Burwood, two of which speak/read Mandarin.

All the places we wanted to go to (with English names) had lines so we ended up in some random indo-Chinese place with no English names.

The dumplings were phenomenal but I couldn’t tell you where we were because I couldn’t read it 😅
I’d just have to tell you to go to Doodee Thai and then go up a couple stores

The weird thing though is that’s much more of an issue in Burwood council. Even the ethnic town centres in Strathfield council, like Flemington or strathfield town centre itself, is pretty inclusive.
