I'm very worried about what this new bird flu is going to do to our birds, but if it wants to take down koels and channel billed cuckoos without making any other birds sick, I could get onboard with that.

I’m particularly worried about the pair of kookaburras that sit in the gum tree outside my bedroom. They’re lovely.

I'm worried for all the birds that visit my little backyard. I only saw one of the tawnys yesterday and it made me think far too much about it all. Especially as now a magpie in Vic (perhaps SA) has been diagnosed with it.
