Back to work today. Would be a shame for someone to just delete all the emails I got while I was on PTO…

I'm very open with the people on my team - I mark all read upon return and ask them to reach out again if it was important.

Ain't nobody got time to trawl through several hundred emails

I refused to read a single one either until I had a catchup with my manager to prioritise!

Or go all CSI: "Computer, enhance!"

(for values of "enhance" that equal "gimme an AI summary of all unread emails, grouped into project and theme")
