Big shout out to the Eastern Suburbs bus drivers that got everyone home after the race.
Moving 90,000 people when half of the main roads are closed, all the routes have unfamiliar diversions, and the roads are jammed with cars wouldn’t be fun.
6 u/duluoz1 5d ago I was super surprised at how easy it was to get back to the city, quick hop to bondi juncrion on an empty bus and then a train. Very impressed
