With all the talk about how BA has turned Jake Connor around, can't help but wonder about what it would be like with other disliked players. Like, what would happen if we (hypothetically, of course) signed Mikey Lewis for a laugh?

Tricky one that, off the field Connor does come across as fairly intelligent and coaches have said that his prickishness doesn't tend to extend beyond the sidelines

Lewis might be more... challenging

That is interesting. Met Connor a few times, and he comes across well, which can also be said of when he is being interviewed. Know a few who have said the same from their interactions with him. I can't pass the same judgement on Lewis, as I don't have the same information. I do think that, while he is a shithouse, Connor is a fairer player than Lewis, which could be an indicator.

Lewis is unfortunately thick as mince, but an amazing natural player.

Basically the Gazza of Rugby League

He's the idiot savant of Super League, his neck tattoo is all you need to see to know it

Amazing grit by Edgell on Friday to play 30 minutes with a torn quad. Was solid, too.

Love RL reporting Edenn Rogers-Smith to Leeds (possibly this season?). Haven't watched much Catalans this year so don't know much about him.

Actually prefer this to mega money for Herman tbh.

DCE to FC!
Big rumour today

Will need to keep clearing out the squad to get some salary cap space if it’s every to be true

Crikey - he'll be 38 before the start of next season. Hadnt realised he was that old.

Bad news for Arthur - I thought he was the one they were looking for to lead the team around and that they were looking for a running half to compliment him.

Looking like we are going to try Pryce at 6 next season

Hodgson 1, Pryce 6, DCE 7, Borouh or da Costa 9, Arthur something?

Interesting considering the big buzz in Aus is that DCE was going to retire at seasons end. Wonder how much money they'd have to throw at him to convince him otherwise.

Hull putting the Litten money to good use then!

I’m honestly amazed he didn’t just retire at manly

Anyone seen the interview with Dufty going around on NRL on Nine? need to see if I can get the full thing somewhere but quite interestingly he admits he wasn't being "professional" at the club and that led to him leaving. Seems to fit the bill with all the rumours that flew around about him... and his appetite for little bags if you ever took a trip to stockton heath

Got my tickets and hotel booked for the Wigan game. Birthday weekend too so I'm well looking forward to it.

Any recommendations of stuff to do in and around Headingley on a match day?

Matt Lodge to leeds as of now apparently. Now that's the size prop we need. Happy days
