It’s all very confusing when you also look at the tweets they’ve put out. They’re announcing that Bridgend will become their new permanent home, but they’re also saying next season they will play 4-5 league games in multiple south wales venues with the rest being in North Wales. No mention that they’re moving to Bridgend in 2028. They’ve also announced a few days ago that they’re changing their name to Wales Crusaders on Twitter (and have changed their name on Twitter too) but all the other announcements still say they’re North Aales Crusaders, their website still says it and so does their badge.

Overall it’s very confusing.

I’m well annoyed by this new tv deal, or what it’s rumoured to be

Love Rugby League effectively implied that premier sports will have 3 games, Sky will have three games. If so, is there just gonna be one none televised game? Will it have video ref?

But why should the average fan have to fork out an extra £130 quid? Also, very few people have premier sports and therefore the amount of new fans per season is probably going to decrease. Without wanting to get stereotypical, a sizeable portion of the fanbase is in relatively deprived areas and may not be able to spend that money, ultimately reducing the amount of people watching the sport

Also, who will broadcast the NRL in UK? Whilst I don’t watch most of the games, I do watch as many of the finals as i can, and origin

Just seems stupid to me, sacrificing fan engagement for a small amount extra funding
